Windy is pretty good. But I agree most of them are off sometimes. I can totally relate to the fish rut! You made the best of it though! You’ll be on them soon I know it.

I know this one spot in Bayville that normally I am pretty lucky with stripers and scup but recently all the action has been dying down. So do you know any other areas I could try that you are willing to share? If you do that will be helpful. Thanks!

Why don't you fish at night or sunrise ?

Night time isn’t the best conditions for filming

I fish the north fork all the time (based out of Southold) I saw you went to Truman beach after orient point, which can be amazing but there needs to be specific conditions. Usually a light north to north west wind on a moving tide produces. In the fall at sunrise people catch false albacore from shore there within 20 yards of the beach. I often go to shinnecock after getting skunked on the north shore a lot. If you want other secret spots DM me.

When Mama wants a fish, bait it is. Then after I get one for her, I will try out the Lures. Tee Hee. I still miss fishing that area. Good memories. Thanks for the trip down memory beach.

That freshwater spot you fished is pretty much unfishable after the lilypads grow in. That spot is really only good if you have a kayak. The spillway west of where you guys were used to be really good but now it never has fish
@GetReelBassFishing3 ай бұрын
Yeah, it’s been good to me in the past, but a couple years ago it completely filled with weeds and becomes unfishable, and tough to even get a bite anymore.

It would be cool to drop a line in one of those tanks and actually watch a fish chase a swim bait or plug
