You can look up the writing credits to see who was involved. Ed S wrote the original demo for BTS. There is a lot of respect between Sheehan & BTS. It is inaccurate to say that Ed wrote the song as if he was the only writer/composer in it. 💜

This song was written by Ed Sheeran, I don't know if he's the one who also produced it. The original one was in Korean, with some English, but the version with Lauv has more English. I encourage you to listen to the original version, because there's some different lyrics in it and the members sing more on the original version, it's a perfect song. They have another song with him, it's called "Who" and it feature Jimin and JK, it's a good one to listen too.

This version is kinda a “remix”. There is an original version of Make It Right that is BTS only. And then they came out with this version featuring Lauv. It sounds the same though just with Lauv’s part added. Make It Right was actually co-written by Ed Sheeran.

the animation is important as well. the little girl is ARMY. she helps and guides the little boy. she is the strength and push he needs. she covers him when he is cold and watches over his sleep. its really poignant. they clasp hands at the beginning of the animation that forms the BTS logo. just more of Bangtan and ARMY being so valuable to each other.

The original song was written by Ed Sheeran as a gift to BTS. Ed wanted a song that everyone could sing. But of course Suga, RM, Jhope wrote their verses plus Lauv too. The whole story, is the real story of BTS, for me it was also about when they were about to disband in 2018, hence the line u were there for me", "then I lost my mind, I can make it right, u were the reason that I survived, even Suga's line saying armys is the reason why they survived hell (I believe this pertains to what sh*t they went thru (hardships, struggles, depression, everything, people treating them terribly, the period where they were having the hardest time because they were contemplating on disbanding). Lauv went to watch their concert in Wembleys London & met up with them backstage & this happened months after, then Lauv collabed with a song with JK and Jimin as features.

This song holds a special place for me. I heard a clip of it on TikTok summer 2021. Just a random video I came across. I had never heard of BTS before. I instantly added it to my Apple Music and it started me on my journey of finding out who BTS was. I listen to this song multiple times a day every day especially when I’m feeling kind of down. Im just happy I came across this song because not only did I get to find out about BTS but through the guys I was able to meet some awesome ppl who I consider some of my really good friends now 💜

I know people are saying they like BTS lone version better and they don’t like collabs because they take away lines from BTS. But this is BTS’ dream come true. They’re collabbing with their idols, people they look up to and respect. They’re getting attention and the chance to work with people they grew up listening to, or listen to now. Also, these collabs bring international attention to the boys. Lauv has a massive fan base and they got their first taste of BTS through this and it gained even more army. Never forget it’s not about you, or me, but then. This is their happiness, their dream. I fully support them working with other talented artists. I actually grew to love lauv because of this song, so I appreciate them bringing more artists into my life.

Aaaahhh! I was at one of the concerts that some of the live scenes come from. The Chicago concert where it was pouring rain - Tae was wearing the brown hat which he ended up gifting to a little boy in the audience. It was the coldest concert. I can still feel it.

I love this video because it has footage from the concert at Soldier Field on the day I was there. It was cold and rainy but as soon as the boys hit the stage I didn’t feel the cold anymore. The dancing was like the last scene in Step Up 2. We spent the whole day worrying that BTS would be cold and get sick, and they spent the day worrying about ARMY being cold and getting sick.

Not until this video did I buy into how much BTS loves, respects & understands how much ARMY has done for them. They know being a fan of BTS is harder. It brings out the racists, haters and just people who feel like trolling to be mean.
