Have you ever wondered why the Philippines built-up malls on top of an achepelago? FYI: A new smart city is being built in Central Luzon. It's called Clark City and is expected to be completed in 2022. Once the Clark City is completed, it will dwarf BGC and Makati City combined. The Philippines is currently enjoying as one of the fastest growing economy in Asia. It's time for foreigners to start thinking of moving in Clark City sometime in the future. Clark City was designed to facilitate ease of mobility and seamless connectivity. Currently it has an international Airport and easy access to the city of Manila via the North expressway. Travel time by land is Approximately 2-3 hours drive.

They do have maps at Mall of Asia, I think it's at every entrance. I could be wrong. It's no the usual maps though, more like the touch screen one's that you have to type what you're looking for, and then it shows you how to get there from where you are. The electronic maps (I think that's what it's called) are the screens you see with the VIVO logos on them I think.

The owner of SM Malls, Henry Sy, recently passed away. He left billions of dollars in personal fortune, and tens of thousands of Filipino mall employees all over the country, on temporary contractual work basis. Why temporary contractual? Because if they worked for more than a few months, by law, SM must pay them perks like, sick and vacation days, as given to regular, permanent employees. These temporary workers barely make about $12 a day, maybe, or about twice the cost of your haircut plus tips. They're victims of an endless cycle of hiring/sacking/re-hiring employees. These billionaire business owners ride on the shoulders of poor workers, by evading the payment of work perks due them. Next time you pass through the sales department's of SM stores, talk to some of the sales clerks and accord them some well-meant appreciation.

There are touch screen monitors located in various spots in mall of asia where you can search for stores and their locations(disclaimer: i haven't been to MOA lately so i'm not sure if they still have them). If the guard doesn't know the shop you're looking for maybe you can ask them where the store locators are instead. They're usually either near the entrances or the escalators.
