Personally I love the videos as much as everyone else does, but definitely focus on enjoying the experience and driving as much as possible. You’ll have a lot more content to film once matsuri starts and starts getting packed. So happy for you Jim!

Jimmy !!! if you don’t buy a boost controller i’m sure one of y’all has some washers laying around. Put like 2 washers where the turbo bolts to the wastegate and it will push boost from stock 9psi to like 13-14 it’ll help a bit with power!!! It’s a quick easy mod for couple extra hp. Stock 1j turbos don’t do too good at 15 psi and above so if you wanna go around 15 i’d go steel wheel insert doesn’t take too long to install!!!!!!!

What I love about jimmy is he takes everything very cautiously and doesn’t seem to have a kill mode for the sake of safety, but I do think it is the main hindrance to his driving but the only way to make it go away is just drive. Great vids though James

Hot tip for the team. Try to walk around the tracks on foot later in the day when it’s all closed. Kita and Touge course are really interesting on foot. Gives a good perspective as opposed to doing car speeds. Have fun!

I loved the video, though it also showed me a bit of a POV on how Jimmy drives next to an almost equal car. It seems like hes always driving in the pocket when chasing, as in like the inside line. Grant usually does the normal mirror to mid line chase, like most folks. I like that Grant is slowly helping Jimmy re-adapt to new good habits, mostly line wise. 👍❣
