Hey! I’m Angolan bro 🇦🇴. There are software engineers that I admire, that I think I will never be as good as that all got rejected from 1000s of jobs that have gone to be very successful engineers. When you get your first job, all those rejections won’t matter. I can help out on why you might be getting rejected. It’s based on a combination of your cv, when the job was posted and key words being used.

@@ItamarTati Yeah bro i got used to the rejection, it's not a bad thing, it's part of life, if you can't accept a no in your life then you will f*cked up for rest of your life lol. really? can you summarize this more clearly for me bro?

@@motivacao-fire Sorry its really long to explain, and diagrams might be better so I will make a video but in short you need to apply with the first 48 hours, keyword match the job

I'm still studying programming and i always hate how people would recommend people to not be a programmer and that tech is hard. And most of the people who would say this aren't even that good of a programmer.
@ItamarTatiАй бұрын
Don’t listen to anyone telling you not to code, programming is still one of the safest places to be in the market. And even if it wasn’t, telling me not to code is kinda like asking a dog not to bark. I just solving problems

@@ItamarTati hahaha love how you incorporate programming as inbred. You're just programmed that way

How many jobs did you apply per day? And what are the most efficient portals for applying?
@ItamarTatiАй бұрын
Very good questions, I answer these in some of my videos. I recommend applying to 5 jobs a day. No more than 10. And you really fill out all the sections of the application. My favourite job portable is jobs.workable.com Less competition and you’ll get more responses
@sul-devАй бұрын
Awesome advice. How many jobs do you recommend applying to each week?
@ItamarTatiАй бұрын
I recommend 5-10 jobs a day, in a month that's 150-300 jobs a month. The key is that you take your time with each application, do a bit of research to see if you can add anything extra on your cover letter resume.

@ItamarTati Ok I will keep this in mind. Thanks.

I've almost finished my online JavaScript course, and I'm planning which course to buy next, between React or Node.js. Do you have any recommendations?
@ItamarTatiАй бұрын
Well that depends on what you want to achieve, Are you looking for a job, creating a product or looking to do freelancing!

@@ItamarTati i'm looking for a job, i'm planning to become full stack developer, but i guess i want to start from front end developer
@sul-devАй бұрын
@hiiDami Build a project as you're learning. I'm building my blog with MEN stack first (Vanilla html css js, no frameworks on frontend). Then I'll build another project with the MERN stack (with React) like an ecommerce app or something similar whilst learning React. I recommend doing the same, so you can build a full stack app now so you have something to show now. But you can learn React now, but I would recommend building 1 Vanilla JS full stack project before going to React (if you haven't already).

@@sul-dev yeah i already bulid a project with vanilla html css js. i guess it's time to move to react. thank you for the advice, i appreciate it
@ItamarTatiАй бұрын
@@hiiDami Good Idea you should go for the React course if you are looking to become a full stack developer you still need to get really good in the front end, I have had 2 full stack jobs where most of the work was on the front end and the interviews heavily relied on front end skills.
