darrens advice is so sensible and comes from the heart , i have a rose tattoo and it was so hard not to go back and get others , but ive stuck to just one and i love it , but of course thats my personal choice

I only have one, did it 10 years ago and I do way another one but there's no rush. Some people do get a lot after the 1st but some oy get one or a couple and that's it.

Even if I were to regret a tattoo 10 years from now, the way I see it is that tattoo was a part of my story at one time and I’ll always wanna tell my story. I generally pick a tattoo idea and think on it for a year or two. The only ones I’ve gotten on a whim were two of animals names and each one is one of my parents hand writing. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I got my first tattoo at 20, I’m now 24 and it’s still the only one I have now. Think carefully about tattoos but don’t not get any more just because your parents say so, you’re your own person. I know I will never regret the tattoo I have as it’s meaningful and sentimental to me. You do you, Mia x

Same goes for piercings- I’ve got multiple appointments booked up for both and I can never see myself not absolutely loving my body art. It’s great for tattoos to mean something for some people, but sometimes the appeal is just having them because they make you happy

I have 8 tattoos! Started the day after I turned 18 and I’m now 23. I love every tattoo I got that had meaning behind it. The tattoos I got without much significant meaning I still like, they tell a story and I think as long as you’re careful with placement and the quality is good then you seldom ‘regret’ a tattoo

I've got about 10 tattoos and my first was when I was just about to turn 20, I still love that one and the ones I like less now are like symbols of what I cared about at the time so I still love what they represent. I think if you get more make sure they're easy to cover. If you want to be fully covered one day you will have had enough by then to know you love having tattoos. It is a lifetime process and you do it when it works best for you 💞

I’ve got 10 tattoos and that’s all been done in the space off 3 years got a couple in 1 year then got couple more year after but I’ve spaced out on how long I wanted to get my tattoos done. I got them done and I fell in love with them even more than the designs I picked. But I would 100% suggest to live your life and do not rush into getting many tattoos in so many months weeks or years you will have to wait a while and live the best life you’ve got. I love you

I got my first tattoo at 15. It was my grandpas initials and I still cherish it til this day. Fast forward now I only have a couple now and only plan on finishing one arm. Mia you’re beautiful your tattoo is stunning and I’m glad it’s something small for your first one🥰💖

I was 17 when I got my first tattoo and it is still to this day almost 4 years later, my favourite tattoo I have. Because she got a tattoo when she turned 18 doesn't mean that she will regret it especially because it does sound like she really thought it out it looks really good and it has meaning. I doubt this will be her last one because once you get one you get multiple eventually. I get their concerns but at the same time they know how they raised Mia and they should trust that she planned out that tattoo and she will plan out other tattoos if she chooses to get other tattoos

I'm 64! And totally covered in tattoos..when young people say to me wow you look dope or you look so cool I say to them I didn't have my first tattoo until I was 40!..dont rush into a tattoo when your still very young because they are permanent, people judge you and it can effect your job prospects, if you realy want one keep it small and somewhere you can hide it, they are addictive..mia yours is small and sweet but my advice is don't get any more whilst your so young..xx

I have one tattoo, a few music notes on my wrist. Music saved my life, I wouldn't be here without it and also got it not long after my 18th aswell, I'm 25 now and still don't regret it one bit. All I regret is not putting much thought into it, I knew I wanted a tattoo that had something to do with music but didn't put much thought into the actual design of it. I'm also planning on getting more, all will have some kind of meaning behind them.

I’m in my mid 30s and covered in tattoos. I love them and feel more me with them. Although I have some that I wouldn’t choose to get now I don’t regret them because at the time that’s what I wanted. I know Georgie says she regrets two of hers but they don’t change her quality of life, it’s a part of her story.

I have a cross down the left side of my rib cage, from the top of my rib cage down to just below my last rib… It’s a black cross with flowers at the bottom… I use to love it! But as I grew up, my body changed a lot and now it’s completely blown my confidence… I love every other tattoo I have (I have 6 in total) but hate wearing anything cropped that shows my lift ribcage😩

I got my first three at 21. I am 25 now and already have 9 now and still love it. And there is one I don't love anymore but honestly at some point you don't notice them that much any more. Don't worry, you will love this for a long time, it's very well done. But trust me you don't notice them at some point.

Tbf, I was 18 for 2 days and I went all out and got a big thigh tattoo, it was a 6 hour sitting😩 luckily I’m almost 25 now and got over 20 tattoos, but that first one is still my favourite😍 And my Nan, who hates tattoos actually loves it too🤣🙈 I designed mine myself so it is abit more meaningful rather than just a random picture I’ve taken from the internet, where as my others are abit random (some of those I like one minute, then don’t the next, then I end up liking them again a few days later)🤣🤦🏽‍♀️ But anyway I love how hard and long Mia thought and planned out this tattoo, it’s definitely a good one for a first, it’s beautiful 🌹💖
