Well I have two real dogs but I have tied to get this dog for awhile. I just tried again and still cannot get this robot. They will not ship to Chicago what BS we can buy pot but no robat dog.

State laws forbid sale in or shipment to anywhere in IL because an aibo collects biometric data when you touch it. It's not Sony's fault that because that's illegal and your state's lawmakers won't give aibo an exemption because there's NO WAY that data can be used to compromise security IL residents can't legally own aibo.

If you cannot upload your own sound files (like real dog barks)to this aibo its not worth the 3000, Also lacks quality speakers.

agree. needs a charging station of some sort like those robot vacum cleaners. this toy lacks a lot of things... ability to upload your own sound files (like real dog barks) large quality spekers some kind of fur (so you`d have to keep it clean) ability to control it from large distances from your phone (so you can walk around your house while you`re in a different country)

Its a $3k r o b o t called an a i b o give their product more respect.Are you serious calling it a dog toy for you're pet?Pretty sad that Sony sent an aibo to these two who know nothing about robotics whatsoever.Its not "for dogs" ,its not "a dog toy" Its not "for kids" and its not "a toy for adults" its a gadget and a robot companion.For people who cannot handle a dog,are allergic,have a disability,love robots this is a great thing to have and i wish it went to someone who would have actually appreciated it.It will most likely be in a closet until they make a video again.

I don't know I feel like it still does nothing really it doesn't come up to you to like cuddle or just I don't know it just feels like it's a toy roaming around. And you have to say so many pre set commands that it feels very unnatural although I do feel like it's not a real dog of course 😊. I've been looking into the little robot called Loona, and it's just so much more energetic and animated but I don't think it learns as much as this. 😮
