We will fill out our squadron with Sentinel Interceptors and now we need to get a Sentinel Style Dreadnaught Capital Freighter in No Man's Sky Interceptor update gameplay series.

The Hanger Bay will stay the original color. It's why finding a freight with the color you want, at least on the Hanger Bay, is still important.

Well Bob, you done inspired me to start yet another new game watching these vids. 😂 It is the most fun part of the game. I enjoy having to figure everything out and ho-humming over what I should use my limited resources for. It gives everything value. Its not like I raid pirate freighters and build oxygen farms when I am ballin'. Getting that first S class ship to replace the Pillar is pretty satisfying. Now for the conundrum... normal or permadeath? No starter ship? 🤔

I can't think of another game I have replayed from 0 as many times as NMS. Unless you count old Nintendo games where there really isn't a choice. Then its easily Mario Bros. Man... remember back before there was such thing as a save... and you left the Nintendo on with the game in pause overnight 😂😂😂

Got my first sentinel ship and multi tool this morning, both A class thankfully, had a couple questions though. Are all "dissonance spikes" on a particular planet or system (not sure if there can be multiple dissonant planets in one system) always going to be the same ship appearance-wise? I found 3 of the same ship on the one planet, just different classes.

There can be two planets in the system but it’s rare. They will all have the same ship. One per system.

Great video as always Bob! Do you plan to do an updated frigate video? If not it’s cool I assume the spreadsheet is kept up to date? It’s hard to remember what frigates are good without the spreadsheet. Keep up the good work

@@Hawkeye1889 The Frigates themselves haven't changed. The inventory change did kind of nerf your freighter's technology upgrades though. Everything in the starting stats, expeditions required to level up, total maxxed frigtate stats is the same. If you're going to max out your freighter with S-class upgrades, a total support frigate fleet is the best on gas with more than enough stats to 5-star fight/trade/mine any mission.

came across a imperial class freighter. it was all black and looked fucking amazing. that was in my first playthrough and after i got my free one. also sucked at making money and hardly knew much about the game. after getting enough i tried to find it again. yea that didnt happen XD

How much damage does the squadron really do? I always felt they are there to 'sometimes' distract the enemy to help you avoid being attacked.

Honestly I like them to keep fire on them so their shields don't go back up, but I end up shooting my own guys half the time.

I know this video is 11 months old, but today I have played for 6 hours and the only freighter I've come across is one to buy, having not already claimed a free freighter is there something wrong? In fact I've only had 2 freighter fights in about 50 hours of game play 😭😭😭

So with 10 storage vaults, the extra storage in freighter means what really? Freighter jump range is unncessary when you can call your freighter in anywhere after warping in ship.

I lucked out on my 1st freighter fight. Bagged me an A class one of these bad boys. Just started playing maybe 40 hours in and really enjoying the game. I locked the options so I can’t “cheat” and I’m glad I did. I really enjoy the grind and story telling style. Feels like a book came to life imo.

I’ve been thinking about the squadron issue and all I can think is that you can only recruit 1 member per system.

Each ship has a designated pilot. You can’t have the same pilot twice so you have to go to the different races. That’s my working theory
