Its better to put ur gain btwn -18 to -12 dbfs not till 0 dbfs

manufacturers tend to label their scales differently.. on all allen&heath consoles (analog and digital), 0 = -18dbfs (digital out) , +4dbu (analog out)

Exactly. The Meters on live consoles are seldom labeled Like your Standard DAW dBFS meters, where 0 is the absolute digital ceiling. Live Mixers headroom goes to +18dBu ,so 0dBu becomes the Same as -18dBfs. In both meters you have 18db headroom

Thanks guy. Yes Allen and Heath (QU) doesn’t use dBFS as a metering scale so zero is Unity.
