I tried for months. MONTHS, to get a squad to box me in final ring an just kept getting instantly wrecked. Till about two weeks ago, a squad finally did it! I knocked their Bang and I thought they were going to rez her (kinda like yeah we will box you but its 3v1 so you aren't going to win) but nope! They punched her into the ring so she would die! XD I boxed Octane next an their Bloodhound made me finish him. After that I beat Bloodhound for the win. I had a squad do that for me once. Bless them. So I’m the kind of player who hides and survives to take out the last people. But my entire squad was killed and eventually it was just me and a 3 man squad. I set up in a small building with a trap at the door and a window with holes in it that I could snipe from. As the circle closed I could see the last squad coming over the hill. I shot at them a couple times before I lost sight of them. A minute or so later the door opens and one takes my trap. It didn’t kill him, but they destroyed my trap. I knew my death was near, I could hear them surround the building. I could see them through my snipe window and they started to break in so I just spaced out my camera spinning in circles but not shooting or anything. Then I let the camera rest on the corner I was backed up against. After waiting a few seconds I carefully looked back at them. They didn’t kill me. They coaxed me out of the building and we chilled and emoted and dropped all our weapons and stuff. But the circle was still closing so we had to stay on the move. We built a little pad to stand on as they basically escorted me through the circle. Then the circle completely enclosed. I set down a healing pad and tried to motion for them to come but they just shook their heads and let me get the win. And that wasn’t the last game I won because of a friendly player. I once won a game without getting any kills. I had gotten on after not playing for a while so I wasn’t confident in my skills. So I did my usual routine of staying at the far edge of the storm and take on the last guy. I got to a place where there was no natural cover so I just kinda ran for it. When I saw one of the two other last guys I dropped all my gear in a surrender and to make myself as non threatening as possible. That person let me go and went after the other guy. They battle for a bit, one kills the other, but the victor of that battle gets caught in the storm and is killed. So I won. Friendlies are the freaking best. If I ever find a lone healer or something I just let them go. Especially since I usually play healing type hero’s and know how it feels to be slaughtered when you’re isolated
