Almost 20 years later, I still don't see how it could have been an intruder.

There are forensic psychologists who believe both parents were responsible.

I've considered the same thing. The possibilities that have crossed my mind are 1) John was afraid that a nosy neighbor or passerby might notice him putting 'something' in the trunk of his car and driving off in the middle of the night and 2) the Ramseys were totally freaked out by their daughter's death and weren't thinking clearly enough to come up with a better scenario involving removing her remains from the premises.

The person that wrote the note is the killer. No kidnapper writes more than a few lines and always demands maximum money. The ransom note is a fake note designed to send the cops in the direction of an abductor. Why? Because the parents needed to avert suspicion from them to an outside person. The ransom note is the key to the whole case.

Good point, but putting something in the trunk and then driving off in the middle of the night would have looked suspicious in hindsight. When questioned, neighbors could have possibly said, 'i was up getting some water & noticed John Ramsey leave his house at 2 a.m.' or whenever. Cops would have found the Ramseys being up all hrs of the night strange, considering their claim to leave early the next morning on their trip.

The problem here is that the type of evidence granting a conviction was not found...

Many people agree with you, including expert authorities. And if the ransom note weren't enough, there are plenty of other things to look at in this investigation that point directly to the parents as perpetrators.

Many handwriting experts said it wasn't Patsy Ramsey's I saw some of the letters they didn't look the same also they have found and exonerated them boulder police DNA was found to be an outside source but who knows the kids dead which is the worst part of it all obviously

On another note, there are criminal psychologists and homicide detectives who will tell you that killers often subconsciously (or unconsciously) WANT to be caught for their deeds. This is at least in part why criminals will leave clues at the scene for the cops or get sloppy in their work. There have been authorities in the JonBenet investigation who have made the same claim about the Ramseys.

But... they got the whole night. Why then to call the Police at 5:52? They were supposed to drive off early in the morning to take a private flight to Detroit, so putting "something" in the trunk wouldn't have been freaking at all...

I also believe the parents are quilty. Their is just to much that points to them in my opinion.

Had they been indicted they would had to be acquitted before the jury can make its way to the deliberation room, because of lack of evidence.

Could be. I just continue to see so much guilt with the Ramseys, but appreciate comparing notes with those who see otherwise, especially since i still have unanswered questions about the case.

But... if that was the case, why not to get rid of the body, in the covert by snow mountains, a few minutes away? A bad way of staging would be left the body hidden inside the house and write a phony ramson note

Yes you would think the police station would be their First stop, one of them knows who fooled with their child that's why it's swept under the rug.

Funny John doesn't want to know who touched his baby before her death, is he afraid of "Whom did it" or "Whom let it happened and he turned his head knowing the turth".

All the money spent & time to find the killer but yet John ever asked Pasty who touched our child you were with her everyday. Why didn't they investigate that why Pasty was living, is that why the book found " Why can't Johnny tell right from wrong" . Seems to me they would start from there once found out about the molestation that to me is the Seed of finding the maybe the turth
