Sorry Kate last response mucked up near end. I was saying I love the "Mara Lunne Tarot" and "The Tarot of Oneness" I watch Lisa Papez channel. She is awesome. I hope you check out these decks as I have found them exciting to use. Terri from Australia.

Yes...I am so not into the RWS artwork but I do use the RWS as a guide to my reading but also the artist and creators messages plus my own intuitive hits. I learnt using the "Light Seers Tarot" as that deck follows the RWS but it also speaks to me. I find the original RWS decks ....really hard to connect to...it is not my art style and you have to love what you read with I believe. Or at least be able to fall into the deck or feel like it intrigues you at some level. Thank you for this video...Terri from Australia Oh... these aren't original RWS decks but have a look pleaseavailable

I am fairly new to tarot but am loving collecting decks that intrigue me or decks that are ones where I just fall in love with the art work. Nevertheless, I have also purchased an RWS for study. I chose the Radiant Wise Spirit pocket deck. The colours are muted and the size is cute. I’ve edged mine in distress ink to make it feel old lol! I like to think the creators would be so happy to see the birth of so very many new and innovative decks based on their system. I know I would if I were one of them! Take care, Ali x

Wow! This is absolutely stunning 😍 Thank you for sharing! Like you, I struggled to connect to the traditional RWS. If you want a "true" RWS that is more gentle on the eyes, I personally love Pamela Coleman Smith's RWS Tarot Deck; it comes in a pale blue box, U.S. Games, and is basically just the RWS softly desaturated. It's less yellow and less jarring than even the Centennial.

How does it shuffle? It's been said it's slippery.

It is pretty slippery but it's not a large deck, and the card stock isn't stiff, so I don't have a problem shuffling it, but it definitely slides around.
