Hey! What you’re feeling is totally normal. I had the same experience when I had braces. At some point it feels like time takes forever. It will pass, trust me. When you get your braces off, you will miss them, even.

I know exactly what you mean! Girl why does nobody talk about this?? I feel so claustrophobic in mine like I’m trapped. Sometimes I wake up and freak out when I remember I can’t take them off especially after tightenings when my whole mouth is under so much tension. It’s caused me a couple panic attacks I just hate them 😬☹️ and of course all the humbling things that come with having them as an adult. I’m also pretty ugly with them so I can relate :/ it’s honestly just that they’re cringe, my friends try to give me confidence but I remember how I saw adults with braces before I had them and how awkward it looked so I know they’re just trying to make me feel better about it. Ultimately we’ll be happy we did it in the end though 🥲 Best of luck love I hope you get yours off December still 💖

Don’t you also kind of love/hate when adjustments are done how it is painful but will also be another step into the right direction? I somehow am looking into each appointment because of the progress 🤓🤣

@@timschulze4162 Yes! Haha like I’m excited to get closer to getting them off but I’m also dreading the pain and soft food diet! It’s weird because I hate them so much but I also volunteered to get them and PAID for it so obviously part of me like them. How do you like having them as a famous singer? That’s honestly so crazy to me I know from experience they get in the way but also all that attention 😭 you should do a video on what that aspect is like 😮

I‘m currently in braces at the age of 38 and I can relate to this feeling. While I was also hoping for my teeth to move faster as I was doing all cleaning and elastic wear unfortunately my jawbone is more rigid and less flexible than any youngster’s. I was told that I would be ready by spring but as you see hitting fall they are still on. Interestingly after the first 1 1/2 years they don’t bother me anymore, I honestly see them as part of my image. It might be a bit goofy but I’m taking care of myself. I’m glad I’m getting this fixed and what we usually don’t realize that a few crooked teeth aren’t the real issue but the correct bite is the main part that needs fixing and that takes time. I somehow learned to own my braces so I smile confidently and as I pay out of pocket I kind of flex with them?! 😂 Hold on, you got this.
