Payday 2 wasn't inspired by the dark night it's even the reverse, at the beginning of the movie there is a place call "payday" the joker when holding his mask have a similar pose from a trailer, and the first game, "payday the heist" was out before the movie.

Man, I remember running a pure dodge build in a non-stealth heist with some friends on the hardest difficulty while everyone else was fully armoured up, the thrill of standing completely still reviving someone while dodging hundreds of bullets when just one hit would end me at any moment is an experience I'll never forget.. I need to get into PayDay again.
