Oh thank you! 😊 It’s some EQ and a very subtle compression. The key with this mic is just holding it close unfortunately hahaha. Maybe in the future I make a series about the BTS in my vlogs with all these details

Does the native ISO of 800 and 2500 in Slog3 applies to photo also? How much ISO is usable in photo mode with Noise Reduction (NR) On and Off?

I think it’s only for video but I don’t do much photography. In the very few pics I’ve taken cranking up the ISO a bit, I didn’t notice any noise though

Hello! I have the zv e10 m1 and sony 11mm lens. If I use active stab mode and clear zoom, it will crop. Do you think I need the sigma 16mm just to get this type of shot? I want to shoot closer than 11mm. I also have sigma 30mm but it’s tighter than what I want to shoot.

I’d say with the 11mm lens and the active mode you are still less cropped than with no crop + 16mm. I didn’t like the active mode in the ZV-E10 because it was jittery. It was so much better using Gyroflow in post and then importing the file to Davinci Resolve with the plugin

Okay! Now I got your point! Both lenses are top! I only own those and I’m pretty much always covered. I normally use the 16mm for hand held talking to camera shots, indoor and low light (because it’s faster). However, the 18-50 is much more versatile. I’d start by this one because it’s also very tiny and it’s so easy to carry around

I am buying my camera day after. I am confused in between getting the sony 18-135mm or this sigma 16mm as my first lens. I shoot gawx art style videos so 16mm makes more sense but i also want to have versatility that the 18-135 provides as it can help me learn different focal lengths idk now lol any recommendations from you?

It’s a tough one hahah! I’m still debating this myself. Maybe I’d go for the zoom lens because it’s much more versatile and then go for certain primes for specific scenarios. This 16mm is a super fast lens so it’s awesome for example in indoor low light conditions. Maybe assessing the kinds of shots you need and the amount of light you’re having helps you decide 😊

Yes! That bokeh is created by the lens 🙌 I use the Sigma 16mm f1.4 and the Sigma 18-50 f2.8! For talking head shots, that 16mm is awesome
