Great thanks! No talks, no music, only process' sound, it's Great! Special thanks for elegant design of wins (expanders), never seen before. It's exactly the thing I need for my project with coins compartment.

when you said getting complicated, you even exceeded my expectations. it may seem a simple work but i understand it's a masterwork from the heart. this is one of my favorite works of yours. i appreciate this a lot! and of course i kind of missed your bags projects. thank u corter leather.

It's great to see video of a soft complex wallet liner done by hand as opposed to machine stitched. Nothing wrong with machine stitching, i'm just still at a point of hand stitching and it's hard to find interiors done all by hand, makes it easier to plan patterns and gain new techniques, refining

This really isn't a complicated build, lots of steps maybe but honestly I've been making wallets like these for 6 months now(using firmer leather for the Gussets, and a single snap closure also another pocket n the outside back) and I've only been leatherworking for 1 year. Oh and using firmer leather for the Gussets and if you lined the zip pocket you wouldn't have trouble zipping and unzipping with one hand😊 not a malicious comment at all just my opinion and a couple other options for leathercrafters reading this, big fan, love your channel, love your insta, and I dig your values and mindset through all of this✊👊 keep on keeping on!

Please be advised: Corter begins this project on the liner, not the shell. It did throw me for a loop on the attempted build and I had to recut all the contrasting interior pieces. I suppose because he has such a thick liner, which he had to skive, it made me think it was the shell, but it isn't. Happy crafting everyone.

@Case167104 жыл бұрын
Looks like a Novolene chopping block. You can get it through Weaver. I use a 12” x 12” poundo board with a piece 8-9 oz veg tan glued over half of it. The veg tan side I use under my irons, and the plain poundo side I use under punches.

@mikethomas61744 жыл бұрын
Keep in mind, everything has been done before, don't try to reinvent the wheel, instead put your own spin on it and make it better! That's a quote from one of he great minds in history.....can't seem to recall ATM but it's very good advice for designing your own products, it's ok to use elements of someone elses design just make sure you don't copy it 100% try and make 50% come from you👍🍻
