Glad to finally find someone doing realism with watercolor. One of the things that put me off of it for many years was the washed out lack of contrast. But the convenience over oils can't be beat.

My stippling pics take about 3 to 4 months. I use bristol board and usually a .5 pen. I could see myself switching techniques to watercolor to accommodate the arthritis in my left hand. (Southpaw as well) The ADHD helps and is a blessing when it comes to creativity. The new pups are adorable!

Hi! Love your work! I`m getting more and more hooked on detailed watercolouring, so for me this is a real find. Could you please do more of these and perhaps show the beginning, how to get where you are now on terms of baselayers etc. I do these finedetailes good, but I often screw up the initial baselayers. You sir have a lot to add to people like me!

I cannot get this, nor the neon light video to play past 30 seconds or so. I've watched 3 other videos by him & they're fine but, with these It all of a sudden says 'no connection'. Is anyone else having this trouble?

I appreciate this is a Very Good Watercolour technique with great skill, but for me, the only pleasure would be the hard work painting the picture, otherwise for visual pleasure you may as well take photo.
