MAMRIE NO THAT'S FALSE. Black cats alone weren't associated with Satan/thought to be his companion. In Salem, at least, it was believed that witches had animal familiars. They were thought to take the form of any creature, from cats and dogs, to birds, oxes, cows, and pigs. Familiars were said to be given to witches by the Devil. Cats were the favored form, and black cats were the MOST FAVORED. It wasn't just black cats though, it was all cats. The fear that all cats were witches' familiars was one of the reasons for cat massacres that swept through medieval Europe. Also they were Puritans, not pilgrims, there's little evidence of familiars in early American witch trials, and the obsession with familiars was most prevalent in England and Scotland. This was VERY false information, could you please correct it? I hope you do.

In Copenhagen there is a church yard where a lot of all black stray cats hang around. I once went and this old lady was feeding them, which meant that a lot of them was gathering. I counted at least 15 black cats in this church yard, that was a little unsettling.

OCD isnt just people needing things to be clean and organized AT ALL. Alot of people with OCD are not organized, and have extremely repetitive thoughts. Or some have to do things in 3s for example. It’s not just needing things to be perfectly organized. I have OCD and it’s just kindof tiring and annoying when humans ONLY think OCD is about needing things in it’s place. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yo! Hispanic person here: I've, since I've been able to eat them, have always done the 12 grapes thing on New Years! My family does it (my grandma used to do a bunch of superstitious things) but the way my family explained it to me is that you make a wish on each grape and you have to do it before the clock strikes 12:01 am (I've legit never been successful because I'm a slow eater and wish for complex things so I don't forget anyone) but yes! I know this is old but I got very excited to hear someone mention that because I feel like no one else does it...? Didn't know it was a Spanish thing!

The itchy palm one is true. My moms hand always starts itching whenever we come into some money. Not just around payday but two months ago she was confused on why her hand was itching because we had already gotten paid and it turns out that she had gotten a random social security check in the mail that we still have no idea what it was for. Once my mom and my aunt were driving in the mountains and a black cat crossed their path...they didn't think anything of it, then a few miles later it happened again. So the decided to find a motel.
