The lakers have had great success drafting, & player development, period! Jordan Clarkson, BI,D-Lo,Larry Nance,Julius Randle, Caruso, Lamelo,Kuz, Hart, Thomas Bryant, Wagner, Pippin Jr are all legit at the max, a mid tier star or at least, good role players….even THT was serviceable at times. The lakers scouting department is very underrated.

If Knecht were a bit more harsh in dogging others, he'd be a lot like Larry Bird. They both effect the game in a way that helps their team mates, while always seeking their shot. I love that. We needed a guy like that because our other young players are sometimes too passive.

I’m all in with our group this year so with that being said I think we start with reddish and I don’t think we can move him considering he’s our best perimeter defender by far. While also continuing not to be a liability on the offensive end so I say stick with cam. Reaves has been quite consistent this year offensively so I think he stays. While Rui gives us size and some more rebounding I truly think with Lebron at the four we’re better offensively. In that scenario you would certainly have to remain with current five. Rui is tough and can get going in a hurry but Dalton (when he’s got it going) could easily go for 50 if he gets enough looks so his offensive prowess should outweigh Rui’s rebounding capabilities and downhill success..but hey that’s just my opinion. Would do you think dude?

It's early, but Klay was known for his defense also. But Dalton can put it on the floor and just seems more complete offensively. He still has to perform on the biggest stage like Klay has as well.

Knecht top2 in lane agility and shuttle run at 2024 NBA combine and 39 inch vertical. Those facts with beautiful stroke at 6’7” or so in shoes (6’5.25” barefoot) and top2 college player in 23-24 makes it so weird he dropped to 17 in a bad draft! Especially when projected to go 5-8. I get he’s 23, but insane he fell to 17 in bad draft!

stop this nonsense..even a broken clock is right twice. its been years of this front office not making moves when we have needed them. even with dalton being as good as he is, we have a clear weakness at our wing position, we have 0 2 way players. contracts like dlo and rui are extremely expendable as they dont fit the team well. we still need a solid trade to get more shooting. finally people see what a shooter like dalton can do on a team with lebron and ad, we need more of that. 4 years of us being bottom in shooting has been a key reason we have been so bad.

He's much more than just a shooter. But he's smart enough to know how to adjust. With reaves, dlo, and bron all handling the ball, all he needs to do is get himself open and this man is definitely good at it. Doing backdoor cuts, running thru screens.
