Wow,Cassie you just turned on a light bulb in my head on Endometriosis. I’ve always had a clue about it but never really understood it. You explained it so well. Although I do not suffer Endo, I had a laparoscopic surgery back in 2021 for a ruptured ovarian cyst, still don’t know what caused it but 11months after that I got pregnant with my first baby. God will come through for you.keep trusting and stay healthy.

Amazing Cassie, well done for this expose, and your healing is permanent. I used to dread my time of the month cos the pain radiated along my right leg down to my toes, there was nothing I could do to stop it. However, after 1 hysteroscopy, fibroid,PCOS, endometriosis, secondary infertility, myomectomy, 5 IVFs, 3 kids with 1 on the spectrum, life indeed is interesting. I still give God the praise for victory.

The silliest, most aggravating thing about these chronic conditions of the female reproductive system is that most females start suffering symptoms quite early in life and to get relief symptoms which can become quite debilitating, treatment options are invasive procedures that could likely cause other complications and/or impair fertility. As a woman whose overall well-being and fertility is threatened from such an early age, you think, what am I supposed to do with that! I understand what you have been through, the pain and suffering you endured. You are not alone Cassie, I will be praying for you.

Thanks, Cassie for sharing your story, I'm glad you are better now. I'm happy that Endometriosis is talked about more these days because when I was diagnosed, there weren't many people talking about it. I have a rare form of endometriosis which I don't see people talk about, it's peritoneal endometriosis which causes fluid build up in the abdomen every month (after menstruating). I'm putting this out there in case someone has a similar symptom. One day, I will talk about it. I'm still praying for healing.

This was an insightful video. I’m a believer that women should speak out more about their bodies and the issues. I used to have painful periods that turned into me convulsing and passing out. I visited gynecologists in Nigeria and the UK and for some reason they keep saying it will pass, they can’t figure out what’s wrong and I was put on hormonal contraceptives that messed with me so much. Bottom line in my case God healed me and for 2 years now no single pain. But I was also diagnosed to have high prolactin because I lactate but I’m sure it will be over soon. I will keep going for routine checks to know what wrong and hope to discuss with my future partner as well. But women should be consistent in checking their health status just to know how to curb things early.

Someone in my university died early this year. That is what piqued my interest in the disease. She also had stomach ulcer and apparently she barely eats especially when she's on her period because of the pain and nausea so I think that played a role in her death. Endo can only definitively diagnosed with surgery (a laparoscopy), so definitely speak to your doctor to explain your symptoms and ask them to refer you to an endo specialist, so they can get you checked out. If your body is telling you something isn't right, don't ignore those feelings- seek medical advice, and get more than one opinion if you don't feel you're being taken seriously.
