Hi from the UK phlinger, love the series. You help me out massively on ark. Cave of the cunning was a nightmare for me the other day. I completed Cave of the strong today with 4 shadowmanes, was so easy. My 19 shadowmans have 18k health, and 600/700 melee, with melee and health mutations. Looking forward to putting them up against the dragon! Keep up the great work mate.

I have been waiting to see you do this cave since the Megalodon update. It's SO much harder than it used to be. I'll do the Cave of the Strong over this one any day! Glad to be done with the bosses on the Island so I never have to deal with this one cave ever again. LOL! Good to see you made it through in (mostly) one piece.

When we did the cave of the strong we went in with a thyla, a bary and a yuti. all imprinted. we had a few hiccups but nothing died so i'd call it a success. Now which one of us had the most trouble? Me with the yuti, they are small enough to fit in the tunnels BUT yutis can't climb so save their lifes! if there is a lip you won't get over not to mention the water crossings. I love yutis they are in my top three but if you are being chased by a giga a small rock is your worst enemy.

“Rest of the dragon artifacts.” Oh dear, we all know the cave of the strong is coming, same with the Skylord. They supposedly fixed the artifact of the Skylord, so hopefully that will work better than before.

The Cnidaria in the air is specifically a problem with the disable hybernation setting you enable in steam. I had to enable it because the ruins were crashing my game whenever I wanted to load the map, and the jellyfish weren’t showing up until I enabled the setting. So that would be helpful to know if wildcard doesn’t ever fix it.

Mosasaurus or Rusoteuthis is the way to go for this cave. They take a bit of work to tame and breed but nothing feels better than smaking 20+ Megaladons and Ciniderias at the same time ,no prob.

Fight alphas at the water surface, the natural rejen of the basilo would offset half the damage. something like 500% more regen when a basilo is at the surface. - any water surface btw, even the air pockets in that cave.

The Cndaria single player bug only exists when statiskeepcontrollers is enabled. if u turn it off, that wont ever happen... but then you get other bugs, like the never spawn bug.

I absolutely love this series, I've watched every single season of it.. But I can't help but notice they are a bit rushed.. I think being a youtuber is really hard because you have to cram everything in before time runs out.. Thank you Phlinger for all your hard work and wonderful content

Brought one basi and I got annihilated so bad so quick. Swarmed real bad.. got mad and brought in a pack of shadowmanes, the ones I used to beat brood and monke on alpha, they got rekt too. It was my Tuso that got me through the cave. It was a horrid experience.

Yeah shadowmanes don’t respond to whistle commands well underwater. I tried them in cave of the brute. Between Cnidaria and whistle command issues it wasn’t worth it unless they’re ridin. The teleport attack catches them off guard but doesn’t give enough time to dispatch the cnideria before they start stunning.

Know what works fabulously in the water caves? Giant squid :) I think that's one critter that has had zero love on this series so far (at least I've never seen any to date)

I went and did the last four caves the other day and got the last bits and bobs for the dragon just need to level up a bit and then me and my whole army will die 😂

I know you are doing a seris but i get artifact of strong and cunning from crystal isles much easier then transfer back. Also to note you hit a alpha in that cave everything comes swimming to you, rockgolems and crabs dont agro in that cave. So i take a crab and dolphin in cryo for a speed run

Hey guys! Well I need some help and that is, how do I check the stats of a tamed Dino before it was leveled up with 16 levels? Is there a way to check or do I simply have to remember to take a picture if it’s stats before I level it up? Knocked out my first Argy yesterday and it was a 145. It turned out with over 400% melé damage(yesss!) but now I’ve leveled it up and just realized that I want to find another Argy and breed it with the one I already have, but the thing is that it had good hp but I can’t exactly remember how good. So again, is there a way to check the new stats right after the Dino is tamed? I appreciate all answers❤️.

I don’t get it. Ive been in the cave of cunning at least 2 dozen times and Ive never seen a tuso, plesiosaur, or mosa. The worse ive ever seen is an alpha megalodon. Now I had to kill tons of sharks but not sure why i never saw the othersstuff. Ive seen alpha mosas in the other cave more frequently. Maybe Ive just been lucky all this time
