In my opinion, ambush is probably one of the hardest to get. He isnt activated by anything, like Timothy is who will just suddenly jump out at you when you least expect. Rush comes past more too and is more likely to do so which is why I think Ambush is probably harder to get.

This vid was made before the update, when Ambush was basically guaranteed to spawn around Door 90 (The chances of him increases as you go further, and by Door 90, the chances of him were greater than rush). Now he is much rarer because of the greenhouses.

I have noticed… when someone starts and it seems like a good run, more dark rooms appear than normal (assuming that the program of the game is that if you are doing good in a run they want to mess you up as much as possible with the one most annoying monster they have. Screech.) You also get a higher chance of getting lock picks and stuff like that. You also get ambush at least once.

Hey, that’s actually true. During my last run today I got bombarded with dark rooms throughout the whole thing, starting very early on until the very end. I also got lockpicks far more than I usually do, plus I did get Ambush. Near the end of the run, I got Hallway Jack and Shadow in the same room. I guess that was just lucky?

Hey, a tip here. In halt when you tried to get timothy, you didnt have to risk your life opening drawers while running away. You can simply walk back in and open them all once you beat halt. Hope this helps!

Tips: • Jack and Hallway Jack are BOTH the same and they don't count as different entities, its just that they are in a different form, so just open closets till u get one • Don't focus on entities like seek, figure and rush since they are guaranteed to spawn in a run • Don't focus on recurring entities too • Take note that snares cannot kill you • I think timothy is more common to spawn after hotel+ update, so ig open every drawer or chest y see •Window is actually the most common entity, he can appear before even opening the next door, it is just that he only lasts for a 1 nanosecond, so don't need to pay attention to window •It is possible to encounter Ambush & halt in 1 run, so don't worry, its just that the chances are less •Play in multiplayer to increase your chances of getting void, however its possible to encounter Void in singleplayer if too many rush is coming • Guaranteed Entites: Rush, Figure, Seek, Snare, Dupe, Window, Guiding Light, El Goblino, Jeff, Bob. I technically know the last 4 don't really count as entities but according to the wiki it does so I'm telling according to the wiki • To count as encounterung dupe you must go to the wrong door even tho you know its not the right door • For screech, stay longer in dark rooms, and yes its possible to not encounter them in a round (I once completed a run without screech btw and also without any modifiers) • for hide, just stay in a closet until you get the jumpscare slowly

The technique is simple: check the drawers until you get timothy when the first rush comes in, get to a closet to get hide along with rush make sure to buy vitamins in the pre run shop Check closets to get jack look at ALL the windows hope your lucky enough to get either jack or shadow when opening doors try to get an illegal item for ambush This is a speedrun tactic so let me know if i missed anything
