A faster way to do the h perm is to simply learn the h perm skip case which is when on your last sledge/hedge before solving the top layer, check the sides on the left and right and if both of them have the center correct then do a y2, do what you were going to do before the y2, do another y2, and do the opposite of what you just did (if you just did sledge, do a hedge, and vice versa). I use Sarah's intermediate and average around low 5s or high 4s and I have found this to be the most efficient way to do an h perm, and you don't need to learn any new algs, just a new combination.

3:35 I very much disagree color neutrality is what separates Lucas ether and feliks People have this weird idea that color neutrality has not that much effect, and I would suggest learning to be color neutral as early as possible. It pretty much gives you 6 different scrambles to choose from, and lets you get good scrambles (which is the effect for skewb) it's just "more important" on skewb cause it's easier than 3x3

@zeragon77 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but people always gloss over the fact that it also has a drawback: you have to waste some of your inspection deciding on a cross color, whereas those few seconds you used could have been spent planning out the cross and first f2l pairs.
@bloky55567 жыл бұрын

Thank you for the clarification! :D
