This video reminds me of years gone by. The only difference we harvested with old and heavily used equipment. Things that break and the weather are 2 things that we humans have no control over. Going to Mt. Rushmore might just be the best thing for all. "Happy Trails to You" Roy Rogers

Best get a call into your insurance agent for hail damage. I believe an ECU 001 1348.05 High Pressure Control Valve Circuit Failure was definitely caused by the hail storm. And check the roof too!Thanks for the video!

Hayden your average per acre will drop 40 percent in the hail damage .whe we harvested winter wheat in per historic times with a j d 55 with a ten foot cutting bar had a hail storm that destroyed 70 per cent of the crop

Cracking video Hayden, when theres light rain falling you guys call it sprinkling, what do you call that rain that was falling before the hail? here in England we have some graphic names for it but they are probably for another channel. Don't know anything about Mt Rushmore so really looking forward to these streams. Enjoy the break.

I wonder what the difference is between winter wheat and spring wheat in regards to quality and quantity!
@farmahedvikaslatinky4 ай бұрын
@@garyflint1793 Ahoj. Nevím jak v US, ale u nás, v letošní sezóně ozimá pšenice sypala málo a kvalita mizerná. Naproti tomu jarní pšenice měla minimum vstupů a kvalita A . Tedy potravinářská. Já osobně to přičítám vysokým srážkovým uhrnům. Vydatné deště v květnu, červnu a do poloviny července. Pro zeleninu perfektní ale pro obilniny zřejmě ne. Měj se hezky.

That's enough to frost you ! How much wheat got knocked out and down ? Maybe only 40 after the hail ? Call in the ducks and geese

I think part manufacturers weren’t selling enough parts because they made them too well. Maybe they started making poor quality parts to force people to buy more. Decrease part life; increase sales.

Wow. What a disaster. How sad to lose all that wheat. Can you still claim hail damage even though you were able to harvest what was left? I wondered if you would close up your bin. I saw that your mom's bin was still open during the rain scene. This has been an expensive start to harvest season.
@HaydenOnHarvest4 ай бұрын
It’s actually pretty surprising how dry wheat stays when it’s in a pile so it really didn’t hurt what was in the bin and grain cart too bad.
@HarvestChic4 ай бұрын
@leefury7 - my bin was open because I was trying to unload the grain I had on. We have to be empty for the bins to close.
