Seal the pots before you paint them otherwise when you water your plants it will ruin the paint. Terracotta pots like these are porous so any water from the inside will seep out through the walls of the pot. They sell a sealant at Lowe’s that I’ve used called Thomason’s water seal and that has worked great for me. I just spray the inside and outside before I paint them with regular acrylic paint. If they’re gonna be outside, it might be a good idea to put a clear coat over your work so the rain doesn’t ruin them. I love your videos ❤❤❤

good call. i forgot to do this on mine once and it did get worn away eventually. it takes a while to wear away the paint completely but it WILL slowly ruin the art if you dont seal or glaze over the paint in some way. was a bummer. I had painted cute birds and butterflies! Definitelysomething you want to remember to do before planting and putting outside too just the weather and rain/etc will damage the paint over time

i use one of those little beach carts/beach wagons when i go places where i know ill be out all day and need to carry things, etc. and yea you can store some water and snacks in the wagon . even keep some gel icepacks in a little cooler that you can take out and put on your head under your hat when it gets that hot. (this is my summer secret btw- get the little gel icepacks and wear a hat, you can putthe icepack up under your hat.. it doesnt look weird cause the hat hides it but it keeps you cool for a bit!)
