Right lol. My first psychedelic was dmt too. I smoked it and wow it blew me away. It changed my life for the better. I was committing armed robberys and pimping a few girls out living that street life making around 15k - 20k a month. But after the trip I stopped everything and realized I was hurting alot of people and I quit everything bad and started my own business got married and now im very happy with life with no depression! I recently went to Mexico for Ibogaine drug treatment to get off of opiates once for all and did 5MeO DMT (toad) on my last day at the facility. It is the greatest experience and feeling I have ever had in my life! There is no way to describe it after you go to the level I went to. I don't think it's even possible to feel anything more beautiful and joyous in this life. I'm hoping where I went is where we all go in the next. I've been drug free for almost a month now since rehab and I won't go back to it. The toad is sacred medicine.

I was a heroin addict myself for almost 10 years and am now clean and have been for almost 2 years.!! I don't consider the "DRUG" you did or mushrooms or marijuana and actual drug.! They are beautiful and life-changing medicines that should not be criminalized.!! Anyhow as I said good for you and keep up the good work on being clean.! Ernest Wolf The idea is if it's researched and or legalised that you could get it from legitimate sources. Clearly this stuff has a purpose, and what could be an ever increasingly important one in the fucked up, corrupt, backwards world we live in. Though I can't imagine it really helps portray the importance of making money, and becoming "successful" in this capitalist system we find ourselves trapped in.
@BlaqMambaHD9 жыл бұрын
Albert5522 I understand, but people most likely would smoke substances on the street and the risk of being drugged by someone would increase. Sounds funny, but in reality people like to mess around and do harm. Just look at the prank videos.
@Albert55229 жыл бұрын
Ernest Wolf They can do that now, while it's illegal. This is one of the most simple concepts of drug legalisation in my opinion, if you make something legal that doesn't mean people want it. If the research is done properly and the information is free to get, then people can decide for themselves if the positives are enough for them to want to try whatever the substance is, while considering the possible negative affects.

Last year I went to Mexico and did Ayahuasca for the 3rd time. I also did Bufo with a Shaman. I did it 9 times one after the other . Each time the Shaman said you need more and I kept taking it. I had internal issues dealing with a suicide of a family member that I couldn't get over. After the second hit of Bufo I knelt down and pounded my fist into the ground. I got another hit. One after the other as I was so mad as to how I was responding to the suicide. After the third hit I felt peace . Took one final hit and felt the weight lifted. The shaman said I needed that and that they never saw anyone that carried such emotions. The medicines healed me Ayahuasca you can fight it and it makes the journey worse. Aya did help me with other issues. Bufo its impossible to fight and you have to surrender. For me the best healing medicine.

Watching Dr. Rettig with Raymundo on the Seri community beach, besieged by his meth addiction and surrounded by plastic litter, I saw a uniquely modern torment alleviated by a thoroughly ancient solution, and it made me cry. I’ve never done any DMT derivatives, but I can see that Octavio is a warrior poet with a soul to serve the suffering. For the naysayers, psilocybin and other psychedelics have been green lit (again!) for over a decade for study in the US, and show unprecedented promise and results for treating cancer patients’/drug addicts’/regular folks’ treatment resistant depression and anxiety. For those asking how people partook of these substances before there was data supporting it, you should remember that the mental health epidemic plaguing the world is a modern phenomenon, and belief did not always require such quantification with studies and research. Intuition and spiritual connection were once enough, and I believe it will take a marriage of logic and intuition to allow these old treatments to become accepted and used to benefit those whom talk therapy and/or medication has failed in a big way. The data is piling up, and a renaissance of these efficacious treatments is at hand.

PEOPLE. Just because something is more potent doesn't mean its a stronger experience/effect. A higher potency means you have to take less to get same level of effect when compared to another psychedelic. This applies to all chemicals
@krapfantasy9 жыл бұрын
yaro Kior thank you! haha, sick and tired of hearing people say stuff like that. if anything LSD is the most "potent" since the effects last so long, thus I think it can have a larger psychological impact.
@PaulA-yx7hf9 жыл бұрын
krapfantasy DMT and 5-MeO-DMT are quickly decomposed by monoamine oxidase enzymes in our body. Although bypassing the intestinal enzymes via vaporizing enables them to reach the brain, MAO enzymes are present in the brain as well and quickly destroy the DMTs, which produce effects for about 30 min. When one takes a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as harmine (predominant MAOI in Banisteropsis caapi and), these MAO enzymes in our bodies are prevented from destroying the DMTs, and when the DMTs are administered after the administration of an MAOI, they last for like 6 hrs., I believe.

Castro Hav maybe for the emotionally numb :) for me, such substances all rocket me out of this world, at one speed or another, into a lucid state where time close to (if not) stops. with DMT it's more visual, but both are as emotionally and intellectually intense.
@PaulA-yx7hf9 жыл бұрын
Yeah when people speak of 'potency' and 'powerful', they don't clarify whether they're talking about experience or physicality of material. The latter is trivial.
@PaulA-yx7hf9 жыл бұрын
Well if you take the DMT(s) orally in combination with an MAOI, it's not the immediate "rocket ride" that you describe, but rather the same multi-hour trip that LSD produces, but oral DMTs are still reported to produce a more intense experience than LSD. So your mentioning of the comparatively rushed experience produced when an MAOI is absent was extraneous, as DMTs are reported to be more intense both in the quick, non-MAOI form and in the oral/MAOI form. And you need to provide evidence that Bufotenine and 5-MeO-NMT are psychoative. I've seen evidence to the contrary: Bufotenine en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bufotenin#Effects_in_humans NOTE: this documentary says that the bufotenine present in the Bufo toad (after which this chemical is named) is converted to 5-MeO-DMT when combusted. NMT "...but may also contain varying amounts of the largely inactive N-Methyltryptamine (NMT)." Articulations: On The Utilisation and Meanings of Psychedelics. Julian Palmer. 2014. Anastomosis Books. Chapter Two : The Meaning of DMT in the Trees.

first time i actually wanted to experience something. even tho my barber is an ayuhasca user from the religion of the daime, and a dear friend was in it but as in other form of religion. the toad looks like something magical, the way he just let's you take the substance from his back, like a gift; indeed beautiful. ayuhasca here in juazeiro bahia, is taken from a normal plant (forgot the name), and we see this plant everywhere, the ritual is incredible. these substances are from a place of the mind, which we do not grasp; psychedelics are not a opening or salvation from ourselves, and not something that will give you want you want. because if it's not in yourself, then just deal with what IS in there. creativity comes from whitin, and i resent the users that do not see how they dissolve in addicition trying to create or be like someone from our past or present. i'm not religious at all, but without guidance these places of our mind can be our demise. great video.
