Hot wax the 2x4s real good! Then figure out a way to cut a notch and glue in some edges! Then I'd probably also round the fronts out more so they don't dig in, and maybe shave away some of the wood on the 2x4 to make it thinner, especially in the middle to add some camber. I'd also cut them way shorter, then you won't feel the stiffness as much. There you go, try that next time they can't kick you out lol they're real (Crappy) skis!

Hyland is super strict with rule enforcement and not uncommon to kick people out for first offense. My friend got kicked out because they didn't think they knew how to snowboard. because they bombed the hill one time when there was no one on the hill.

a whole bunch of practice, if your jumping over the rail, you can try falling off the other side and it may help.

I’m not even joking I was there like a week ago and one of my friends (he snowboards) thought it would be funny to go down the bunny hill with like the little features unstrapped kinda like a skate board and do the features (while there was no one on the bunny hill ) and the same guy in green came up to him and he got kicked out cause “the board should never unstrap from your feet”

15 year old local here. I reckon with your skill you could hit some pretty sick tricks off 55'. From my experience, you need to bomb the hill from the top (You generally need to take the lift up to get a higher start or hike from the rope). Also keep uploading ski content bcuz then I might run into you.
