It doesn’t make for good KZbin, but luge at night, followed by a stop at Cooks Corner, is a wintertime classic in these parts. It’s one of very few places we can ride after work when it gets dark early. Call in your order from the top of Luge, and your burger and beer will be ready when you pull in...

So strange that a lot of people do not say hi to each other on the trail. We usually have to plan for extra time for all the chit chat.

It's hit or miss here in SoCal. Some riders are very friendly some won't say anything. One brand in particular does seem to be over represented by riders that "Specialize" in rudeness, but I also know some very friendly people that ride that same brand. I just try to remain friendly to everyone, and not get too bothered if my fellow trail users don't reciprocate. Of course it's nicer when everyone is cheerful, but I'm not entitled to their courtesy, and there's no telling what they have going on.

NoBrakes23 I ride one of those. I always saying hello to folks. Talking about conditions and what not. I figure we are all outside enjoying nature. That’s a pretty cool common thread right there. But I’m sure some people have plenty other things going on, so they are not too chatty. Never know what someone’s dealing with in that moment.

That first section of trail (Borrego) is two way traffic for hikers and one way for bikers. These riders were moving at a good clip on this trail which might be why there wasn't so much interaction. I enjoy your method when the trail is multi-use.

If you think that's bad, the roadies I come across are even worse. While changing a flat on my road bike, I'd say out of 15 roadies passing by, one would ask if I'm ok.

However, I do have one suggestion - if you want more people to watch and get inspired, and to even support you on your Patreon Page, please consider not dropping the f-bomb so much. Kids can get inspired to get out and bike, but parents won't like your language and will not watch you for long. Clean up your language, and you will undoubtedly get more subscribers.

I get this every once in a while and I definitely feel your pain. My videos are just like if you're riding along with me, warts and all. I think being as much "me" as I can makes the connection deeper with my audience, but keeps it from reaching a broader audience. I think deeper is better!

If u are ever in the Santa Monica area you should check out Sullivan fire road. Bitch of a climb but Sullivan canyon is fun downhill and the ridges on Sullivan fire road have some nice jumps.

What do you use on your chesty to get this angle? I have the new hero7 black that is supposed to not need a gimble, but I can only push the camera so far back and the angle is looking too low to the ground. Should I use a gimble anyway?
