@@michaelweber9778 balancing state is god awful, especially as wiz. warlock drops you in 2 spells and most people are running it, but you're commonly dying in 1-2 hit to any sort of melee or beefed up ranger headshots anyway. wiz damage is so low that you have to build magic power to compensate or you do nothing, leaving you squishy af, there is just no play for wizards rn

Infinite spells, Best self sustain in the game, Incredibly high damage output, best zoning tool and stealth check tool in the game (with hydra) 30 second "Oh shit i mis-positioned" reset button (Phantomize) easiest day 1 naked solo boss clearing class with hellfire spam and is a tough 1v1 matchup for most classes in the game at the highest gear level

Barbarian/warlock classes right now are so strong, I basically HAVE to use traps, and rouges basically lose 1v1 even with the jumpscare, Rouges 3 times recently lost to Cleric, Bard, and my ranger, 1v1 melee. Basically rouges are a poke and run melee class, feels bad. THe cringe part is when the metalocks come out, and complain about others LMAO.

They really be playing like that huh? 2:40 Damage scaling has always been the issue in this game, things are scaling at 1.0 or .50 and they should be scaling at .30 on the high end. In my opinion, most of this games issues could be solved with a heavy handed nerf to scaling on the higher end. I know SDF wants the "wild west" but it doesn't feel fun to die because someone hits two curses or even two arrows, especially when your fighting multiple opponents. Arena is going to be plagued with this and that's why I think arena is going to be fun for the first weekend while people are using their looted stuff but after that it will be DOA when people bring in bought BIS.

2:40 is not because of scaling, it's because they more than doubled the damage of curse of pain, and increased the total dot damage as well. as a wizard you will be 2 shot by curse of pain even in a gray lobby.

@@graystone2802 The initial hit for 15 scales at 1.0 with other attributes (such as will or magical power) as well as add/true damage, the dot scales at .50 and also applies the same attributes, so a insanely geared warlock (which is what Jay was fighting in the clip) can hit for an insane amount of damage, due to scaling. I'm not saying that it's not strong, but the problem isn't the initial hit it's all of the additional damage. Even in a under 25 lobby the scaling is what it is. Base kit wizard has around 96-100 hp depending on what you're wearing. A warlock can't two curse a wizard in base kit (it does do about 70ish% of the wizards health but you would still need an additional curse or dark bolt.)

I specifically stated base kit for under 25 gear score lobbies the amount of times you're running into a timmy with a blue phoenix choker (which adds 2 true magic damage) + other rolls is likely zero. I appreciate you trying to stick up for the wizards and again, I didn't say that curse of pain isn't strong, it just doesn't do what you implied when you first commented. Don't think that I'm saying that ONLY warlock scaling needs to be nerfed. I'm saying that scaling across the board is ridiculous and leads to crazy amounts of damage in the higher end, especially for PVP.
