This is UK Immigration, not Canadian. I doubt if you can get married in the UK if your partner has not status and you will come on a tourist visa. Your partner will be deported if you try and get married here.

You need to contact the local registrar and explain if you can use your ARC card as ID. That may be accepted, but you need to phone and ask them.

The HO will only grant a fiancee visa if you can show that your relationship is genuine. You can show your relationship is genuine if you've met in person. How about going to his home country or meet in another country? Find ways to meet in person and then apply for fiancee visa.

He needs to sponsor you and your adopted child. He needs to show an income of £22,600 per year before tax (through his payslips and bank statements) and you need an English Test Certificate (level A1) taken at an appointed Home Office English Testing Centre.

Hi Mam i am rejected asylum seeker individual from south Africa with rights to work. I met my polish husband in 2022. We got married in june 2023 and i applied for my spouse visa in July 2023. Its actually 12 months today with no decision from home office but have had communication from them requesting more information regarding my health status which i provided. My arc has expired as cancelled the appeal to get married but for some reason my visa application is still linked to my rejected asylum claim. I sm tired of waiting. Unfortunately, you just have to wait. Appealing is one of the ways to present your case in person. Applying is quite impersonal and if you don't meet the Rules the Home Office usually refuse your application.

I don't think there is any option except to wait for your asylum decision and then apply for a UK travel document. The registrar won't allow you to give notice without your passport.

This is rubbish if your an illegal or a refused asylum seeker or asylum seeker you should have no rights in our country at all included no rights to appeal a decision. The only rights these people should have is the right to buy a plane ticket back to their homeland. This just makes a laughing stock of our country once again.
