@@TayReneeTips Trust me, it has multiple benefits. This is generally the time when all the snow storms happen. You don’t have to worry about protective styles. Plus when summer gets here you will be past the banding stage. You can swim and everything without worrying about slippage. I loc’d in December 2019 and it was the very best thing I did that year. Idk that Rona would happen but I had a set hairstyle while we had limited access to hair stores, products, and consultants. Enjoy your journey. Time flies and the hair flourishes.

@@TayReneeTips my only tip is band when you work out. Not sure if you are a heavy sweater like me, but band until the 6 month mark. On the flip side, you will have a banging braid out once your hair dries!
