I only go out of my way for the blue armour pack that gives you the super jump, honestly all of his armour packs should do that, straight give extra mobility for his team would be a great buff for rocket.

I generally do go out of my way for them as the extra HP can make a difference between getting picked off or living with low HP. The issue is finding the beacon to begin with (and having the time to walk back and collect the armor pack), since most Rockets hide them for obvious reasons. I feel the beacons should be visible though walls for teammates to more easily find them.

They should combine armor pack with jump into one buff. Juggling two minor buffs would be annoying imo

One thing to notice is that rocket only gets a 5% healing bonus for the season. The other healers with the bonus get 15%. I think if rocket had that 15% he would be probably fine.

Main gripe with rocket is just his ability to do dmg. I think that is because of either the nature of his healing output or the amount of heals the orbs do. Where u can just spam your orbs and it still isn't enough. Would like to see some small buffs to the heal just to facilitate some moments of machine gun action. At least compared to the top healers where they can reliably deal dmg and heal at the same time. He is still really fun and a top 3 char for me

Same here and agreed! Snow, C&D, and Mantis are way overtuned in comparison to Rocket and I’d kill for him to get some kind of damage buff (or more heals would be nice). His movement is so fun and I love his survivability, he’s definitely my favorite strategist. Although also trying to get Snow/Loki under me too.

tbh a great buff for rocket would just be able to shoot his dmg and healing at the same time. His charcater should be the supportive team fighter and right now if he isnt heal botting he is uselss because his healing is so low. but if you allow him to pump out dmg and healing instead of one or the other his character would feel better and less clunky and be more involved in fights

My Suggestion: -Let us aim while stationary during wall climbing -Either Increase Damage OR, BUT NOT BOTH, change his gun to Hitscan -Have C.Y.A also increase Healing inside radius -Damaging Enemies or Healing Allies, OR Kills, reduces Jetpack Cooldown -Increase Shield Pack buff from 25 to 50 -Let Healing Orbs Stick to Allies New Ability: Rabid Mode (F Key) Launch onto an Enemy. Upon successful landing, Rocket attaches himself to the Enemy for a short time and deals (low) scratching damage. During this time, Rocket can redirect and influence Enemies Movement, Enemy actions are unusable save for movement. Dashing Cancels this Ability. Basically think of the Jockey from L4D2. This'll give him CC during matches, for kiting or overreaching enemies, can be used as a finisher for DPS divers, and can be used to Cancel a limited number of ULTs from other characters, like Wanda or Iron Man. The trade off is during this ability, you won't be able to heal, and you'll still be able to be targeted by other players. While you'll still essentially be moving, it'll be much slower. And should you fail to actually latch onto someone, it'll still go on cooldown.

Nah that ultimate would be too weird, just keep his current ultimate but make it to where if you get five headshots on an enemy while ultimate is active it slows them (just some form of CC). Rocker doesn’t need too big of a buff

Recently I got a match with 52 assists and a near 40k heal with rocket. Probably the most satisfying match I've had. Still not mvp though. God I love rocket. ❤

Personally, Rocket should lean more into providing your team with more damage and his healing being secondary. Like making his ammo stockpile(team up) being base-kit where he increases the rate of fire on ranged characters by a small amount and keep the infinite ammo and huge boost to rate of fire to Frank and Bucky. I just believe it fits his character better to help provide more damage as well as healing to his team.

I think the armour packs should definitely be significantly more health because they're genuinely pathetic, also his healing orbs should heal a little faster. I think he's in a decent place otherwise, in particular his damage, this dude out damages a lot of actual DPS if you actually let him start blasting.

Rocket is massively underrated. From my understanding , rocket is a dive backdoor healer. He is not meant to be played staying back like other healers but to backdoor the enemy healers kill them up close and personal because his weapon damage is non existent from distance but devastating up close. Because of his mobility he can reach anyone and get out before anyone reaslise that you basically diving. Of course the prime role should be healing . But because rocket can do healing essentially from anywhere because of the healing orbs bouncing on walls that leads to people making the mistake on focusing to much on his heals. Rocket is meant to break the stale mates when you have too much healing on both teams and the divers dps if you have any dont do a very good job. So he is a high risk and high reward healer. He does not need a buff because once people understand this he becomes a nightmare to enemy teams. Because of this is also extremely hard to kill if the player playing him knows how to use the mobility well. The only thing need to fix is the collision detection, he can easily get stack while climbing a rail or weird corner, one time i bounced of the top of the head of a hulk and the roof where there is was a clear gap.

I had horrible issues with Gold. However, once I got out of there, I just so quickly and easily climbed into Diamond. I typically take the time to make callouts in my games while playing Support. Like "I hear portal", "someone on me in the back", stuff like that.

Rocket needs a small rework, his armor packs should be a separate ability entirely Armor packs should give 50 armor, his gun needs it's aim tightened, the bullet speed increased and the damage drop off to be reduced Maybe make his healing orbs linger a bit longer on teammates too

Plat is a weird spot on console as well. I'll have one last game to get Diamond and get people that'll just start losing the vision of winning. Over extending, taking fights they shouldn't, genuinely just bad players not understanding their roles or characters. It happens and just gonna keep smashing my face into a brick wall until I get diamond 😀 and then lose it the very next game 😀

Some white dude i played with that was using the N word (lol) had a valid point about some plat players: They get a bit of an ego because of the rank and how much higher ranked they are compared to most players. I agree and Plat is the rank where you can most definitely tell they were carried there.
