I'm gonna get them pierced for the first time next Saturday and I'm 13, I pierced them when I was younger but the hole closed cause I got them out after few days and I was too scared to do them again but now I'm brave so I will do them, I'm so excited :D

For future piercings:You'll probably be happier(and less chance of infection,embeddings if you avoid a piercing gun, accessory store like Claires. The guns can't be autoclaved, nor do specialists have the same training as a reputable professional piercer who uses a needle.

I buy these at Claire's or Walmart, and they work pretty good. You were so brave, Lizzy! Getting your ears pierced for the first time can be scary at first, but you did it, Lizzy.
