Hi Brennan. I too came here after seeing one of your BTS videos. You are a good man - you understand ethics, personal responsibility, etc. and this was a brave video to make. I'm a woman of faith so will pray for you that you may be richly blessed in your journey and may your dreams come true.

I can completely identify with your struggle to find out what you want to do after a difficult journey of losing your passion for a job you once loved. The fact that you felt aimless without motivation is not unusual in the sense that you had already experienced several years of feeling dissatisfied at work. My situation is similar, but for different reasons. I have a Masters in Clinical Psychology which I received 24 years ago. I stayed home and raised my kids until 7 years ago when my husband and I separated. I moved in with my parents and and helped with care giving, first for my Dad (he just passed away 2 weeks ago 😢), and now for my Mom. My Divorce was just finalized. I was able to work part time in the mental health field until 2 years ago when I was diagnosed with chronic regional pain in both of my ankles. Over time, and due to the Pandemic I lost my focus and hope and slid into Depression. I'm now needing to find a job to help pay for the mortgage of my Moms house and she just got hospitalized last night. All this to say that I understand why you didn't want too do anything because I've had the same routine of watching KZbin or Movies. I too, am getting my life back together. You talked about how other videos affected you, and I can say that your discussion about your journey and getting your life back together has inspired me. I'm doing the same. I will pray for you and your journey of self discovery and learning to do what you're passionate about. That's really one of the best things you could do for yourself.

I had seen you mentioning this on your BTS videos so came here to see what has lead you to today.... it is important to remember that you "work to live, not live to work", sometimes the best thing for your own mental health is to leave (done that myself)... It sounds like Depression that I only to well understand as well 😔 I recommend watching Suga's alter ego Agust D The Last (he raps about his fight with social anxiety & depression). There is a saying BTS will come into your life just when you need them... 💜

There's a saying that you find BTS when you need them the most. BTS has helped me a lot with my mental health struggles. They preach about loving yourself, and I feel like I'm slowly starting to. I hope they will help you too

Watched this after you mentioned it in your reaction to Black Swan. Sounds like you made the right decision on moral grounds and of course it would have affected you and you needed time to pick up your feet again. Hopefully not but If ever there are those days again .. the song Zero O’Clock by BTS vocal line could provide some comfort ☺️ sending you Army Purple Hearts for luck 💜💜💜💜

As someone already mentioned here and even though it sounds a bit cult-ish... BTS will find you when you need them. So many of us have been in your place, in similar places, in better situations but also in far more awful situations. You will love the songs of the LOVE YOURSELF trilogy.
