Getting my shoes done in Skopje, North-Macedonia.

Most of you will know, that whenever possible, I'm getting my shoes polished & done in the streets & cities I visit. This video shows you my shoes getting done in Skopje, Macedonia. Price was 200 MKD, the Macedonian Denar, which is a little more than USD 2,50 or EUR 3,=. I couldn't find another shoe shiner in other Macedonia towns like Ohrid or Bitola. Of course I paid him the double for letting my record this with his permission. My shoes are partly made suede, instead of leather, but he did not care about it. Just shine, quick & easy money. When you see him in the main street, he's also selling shirts, sun glasses and more next to the shoe shining. I guess he has not too much clients during the day. It's not inviting too, when you have to stand minutes on one leg, when he's doing the other. Most of the times this shiner is sitting somewhere on Nikola Vapcarow in the center, near the statue of Alexander The Great. Enjoy your stay in Skopje, Macedonia, it's a nice city!

Je suppose qu'il n'a pas trop de clients pendant la journée. Ce n'est pas aussi invitant, quand il faut rester debout pendant une minute, quand il fait l'autre. La plupart du temps ce méné est assis quelque part sur Nikola Vapcarow dans le centre, près de la statue d'Alexandre le Grand. Profitez de votre séjour à Skopje, en Macédoine, c'est une ville agréable!

Ok several things about this. First off polite nowhere near. The guys making a living doing this and you approach him like he’s dirt. Very low of you. Second you want shoes cleaned and shined give them the time to do it ( you get what you pay for and if I were this guy I’d mess them up ) third if your trying to do a ASMR video learn not to look around so much and keep straight focus and quit shaking.

The shoe shiner is Albanian... And Macedonia is not Eastern Europe in the traditional sense.

Skopje is the capital of North Macedonia now officially, please take a look at the agreement Macedonia & Greece that was signed last week. Only the parliaments have to confirm it yet.
