I can’t believe they put you to sleep. I have never heard of anyone getting anesthesia for an NJ. I’ve had one a few times and I never had that. Kinda wish I did... lol. Then again, I live in the US, Kentucky. I guess it’s different in different countries. I have NGs right now. So I just place those myself. And I’m glad they replaced it with a 10fr. Flushes nicer with a bigger size, less chance for clogs. I use 12 fr right now.

Why do they keep putting the new ones in the same nostril? Here where I live they have to always change what nostril hole it goes it like if it is in the right then they have to put in it the left and vice versa

I hate to say this and I’m totally on your side Amy but why didn’t you get on the net and find a specialist who specialises in idiots and gastric pacing - that’s what I do with all the specialists I get online I find the best tell me a GP their name and details and get a referral (okay my GP if someone he might need for other patients then steals their name but I still work away with the referral, i’ve never got a referral any other way. Like I’ve never walked into my GPs office needing day, let’s say a orthopaedic specialist who specialises in hip replacements in young people and expected my GP to have someone. I’ve gone in there with the name of someone that I’ve researched this I don’t know it’s just how I do it and then I get the specialists I want). I have friends that with various medical problems (of course - as in of course my friends have chronic Illness or/& cancer as well), The ones that don’t get the good specialists like the ones who are highly specialised in every field of the friends who are completely reliant on their GP for getting a specialist. Like they walk in there and say ‘oh yes and I need a referral to a orthopaedist’. don’t get me wrong, I completely trust my GP but he doesn’t have time to research the hell out of specialists! It’s my life even if I didn’t have the time I would make the time. Best of luck.

noti not been working for me can't believe i missed few vids also you should be an emergency too as your not getting food only fluids for 2days or more shame can't do the peg while already there and can be watched after to monitor you to put you through that couldnt get tube in and then manage but inflamed insides also because of not having food which a person who does not eat for a day and nothing wrong with them become so ill so for you you are one strong young woman you amaze me
@stephroseblade43367 жыл бұрын
Can you help me understand please, why do you need to have your tube placed; are you not allowed to put it in yourself?
@amyslife44577 жыл бұрын
Stephanie Roseblade because it’s a NJ tube so it needs to be placed with an X-ray or endoscopy it’s not the same as an NG which I can usually place myself xx

Why does this seem to happen to you all the time? Your hospital seems completely incompetent in helping you with your issues. I hope the EDS specialist helps you to find a real solution asap. You deserve some competent help for a change.
