I ordered these Ernst manufacturing socket rails to replace my old metal rails. If you're new to my channel, please subscribe for more tool and garage related videos. I appreciate the "thumbs up". Thanks for watching!

Awesome review! I really like the versatility of it, the configurations are endless. Especially with the accessories. I am still committed to the trays and the terrible metal rails, but the next go around will likely be this system. Looking forward to further updates in the future. Thanks brother!

Glad KZbin put your video in my feed. Finally getting serious about organizing my toolbox and haven't been able to find the right solution for my sockets. This is exactly what I've been looking for and it won't break the bank. Thanks for the great review. Subbed and look forward to watching your other vids.

Those socket boss trays are nice! I could use the individual rails too, because they can accommodate more than the standard 10 sockets per rail. Great video.

My OCD tells me you have your 21/32" socket out of order. :) I have the Craftsman master socket set which came with those odd sizes too. I had to buy a 19/32" when I was younger for my 1979 Firebird.

I like the westling socket trays a lot more . Don’t like the magnetic at all they just collect dirt . Those type of trays might be good for tools kept in a car . I don’t want to yank or twist or try pulling sockets off the tray .

Would be great in my service truck!!!😎😎 Checking the bolt to the sockets... If you learn to let your eyes measure the bolt size or the hex size... You won't have to do it that way 😎😎😎 (Sorry, been letting my eyes measure for me since I was about ten years old... They're usually right!!! Right up to the bastard size SAE and some Metric....

Did you get the 13" or 18" rails? Also is the impact sockets on the standard clips or the ones made for impacts?
@chevelle74us
@chevelle74us 7 жыл бұрын
+Dwayne Denison they are all on 18" rails, except for the impacts, those are on the 13" rails. As far as I know, the impacts are on regular rails. I don't think Ernst makes special rails for impacts, but I could be wrong. Thanks!

+LDSloan after more than a year now I’d say they held up great. I notice that some of my 1/4” sockets don’t hold on as well as others but I think that more because the sockets themselves are slightly different in size. For me, I find them to be the best solution.

@@chevelle74us idk just get used to knowing the size of the bolt, nut and socket you’ll need or what’s out of place. wouldnt it take hours to label all the socket trays, and then if you brake clean your tray the stickers will just come off and you’ve got to do it again?

Why does everybody think they need a long ass loud ass intro to every video? Really you need that stupid ass intro that busts out my eardrums ? Why.? You aren't the only one. Seems this trend caught on a few years ago on KZbin. You are not a professional channel your just some guy with a video. You don't need a theme song especially since you have not figured out volume leveling yet. Everyone with these intro blasts should be banned from KZbin.

+Todd Hayslett You're right, I'm not a professional channel, and I am just some guy making a video. The fact is, I'm still learning. I film, edit and upload all from my iPhone. It sounds good on my end, but I don't really have a way of knowing how it sounds on yours. That's where your feedback is welcome. Thanks.
