You can have the villagers plant and collect the flowers from the sniffers. :) you will need to keep giving them seeds or feed the sniffer drops to the villagers, which you could do with the allys if you wanted.

Villagers are great, as are allays! I hadn't thought of having allays collect the pods and flower seeds...good thought!
