I really like watching those time-lapse tidying segments, Rebecca! It's good that you and Lee have come to a decision about staying put, and as you say, a couple of mature trees could provide you with that extra privacy. 🏡

So glad you decided to stay put. Your house is awesome and you’ve put so much into it you are definitely best to not move. Great vlog as always. I’m way behind watching so I’m happy with whatever you get to put up ♥️

Is the podcast over? I was enjoying it on my long car drives for work. Glad you are keeping the house - it's lovely and seems to be a great fit for your family. BTW I didn't realize in earlier videos how large that new mirror is.....what a great find! I love it!!

So many things you talked about at the beginning rings true for me. All consuming thoughts, racing ideas, irrationality. Affects my clothes, eating, exercise. My life has seriously changed since I started taking Sertraline 2 months ago. My thoughts are just nowhere near as frantic. Lots of love x

Rebecca I have adhd, I got diagnosed October 23 at the age of almost 39! I have wanted to suggest you get diagnosed/that you have it so much but haven't wanted to come across rude! I see so many of my traits in you ❤❤❤

Dear Rebecca, I’m SO like you! So proud of you! A lot of the things you describe I can relate to! I’m not a runner either but you’d inspire me to do it - it’s a shame I don’t live nearer to you as then we could run together xxx😊

I have Adhd and possibly autism. I found out through trying to find answers for my eldest daughter. I quite often watch your videos and thought thats suspiciously similar to how I approach things and how I think 😅. It helps to just know even if you dont go for a diagnosis, it helped me with understanding why I find everyday things so hard that neurotypical people can do without thinking. X

Haven’t commented here before but just wanted to say you are very brave and inspiring to share with us that you think you have ADHD, a friend of mine has realised this too, it will hopefully make your life more understandable to yourself and you can give yourself grace 😊. I have seen you a couple of times once in Stonehaven and this weekend in the village (will keep the place private on here for you) I was going to say hi but wasn’t sure if you are comfortable with people saying hi, especially when you have no idea who I am but I obviously recognise you from your vlogs. Anyway really enjoying the content and look forward when a vlog pops up. 😊

I’m glad you guys are staying! I think it might be worth going to get a diagnosis. They might help you with what to do about it and make you feel more at ease with it.

I’ve always wondered if you had ADHD, even more so since you’ve mentioned issues with Poppy. There’s so much in terms of resources on line but I’d particularly recommend Is It My ADHD podcast by Grace Timothy. My daughter was diagnosed four years ago and it’s been really interesting for me learning about it and supporting her. I suspect I may also be on the spectrum although I don’t think it’s adhd; her dad (my ex) however 100% ADHD. Pays to be more self aware especially as it affects so much, and especially with family and friends. Wishing you all the best and sending love ❤️

My eldest has ADHD and I think my husband likely has it. The pathway for diagnosis is about 12 months in England right now. Since my son started medication he has been so much happier and said his brain feels calmer. Might be worth talking to your gp x

Funny you should say about the adhd thing, because it was made aware to me about 6 months ago I need to go for a diagnosis (still waiting) but since looking into my own adhd self I see alot of it in you as well.

Hi Rebecca I had my son Stewart was tested at the start of lockdown for Gordon Brown in Glasgow privately it was such a positive for him at the age of 30. Rebecca you would do some great stuff for people with ADHD , please consider getting tested.

ADHD in women is very under diagnosed. My male friend who has it said I must have it because I’m worse than him. It explains a lot of things in my life and why I’ve been misunderstood a lot of the time 😅

My daughter was diagnosed with adhd recently and as I’ve read and watched lots about it I’ve realised that I probably have it too. I’m planning to get myself tested as I’d just like to understand myself better (and it would certainly explain a lot, including things I struggle with!). Lots of great KZbin channels you can follow by people who have adhd.

Its maybe a thought to do more for yourself in terms of fufulling your talents working with ppl or volunteering. You were very organised and when kids were wee doing your thing. Maybe you feel more redundant now and looking and changing fads to fill that hole. I would definitely see a GP no point not knowing as it would help your overall wellbeing ❤

Some of those sound like ADHD, but lots seem spectrum too. AUDHD might fit your self understanding a little. It's freeing to understand yourself and give others something to look into to be able to relate and support you too x

You should have yourself tested It will make you feel better knowing why you do certain thing why you do things diffrent. There might be things your doing that you don't no are related to ADHD.💐

I think you’re probably right with your ADHD suspicions, your personality is extremely similar (almost identical!) to other women I know who have ADHD
@amandanixon781922 күн бұрын
Why do people feel now that ADHD or anything similar especially when you are older has to be diagnosed? Just accept all your little foible's.
@amyyoutube92322 күн бұрын
I think the reason diagnosing it helps is because those ‘little foibles’ can cause marriage breakdowns, car accidents, anxiety and depression, increasing rates in eating disorders, employment issues and so much more when they aren’t properly managed. Everyone may have a few adhd traits, but if you have all of them, all the time, with no ability to turn them off it is a major executive function disorder that can impact your life in a big way. I think it’s amazing women and men who are in adulthood are taking charge of their mental health 🙌🏻
