Cool suggestions! Thanks for sharing these. Lists are definitely what keep me going in the right direction on tough days/weeks. This was a good video for me to watch today while my husband and I are in limbo land with our adoption also. 💜

I’ve absolutely felt this way on our adoption journey. Thanks for the video. It’s relatable.

Thank you for sharing, I am sorry for the delay of your child arriving to the US. But time will fly and before you know it you'll be holding your new bundle of joy. :'D I too drink coffee when I am down or stressing, something about it hits the right spot. Hiking for making me feel better too, sometimes getting away from the city and having alone time or walking with a friend helps.

Hi Winter, As a foster/adoptive mom, I am sure you can relate to this. Yes, I am definitely in a slump right now. My former foster daughter who was with me for almost 15 months just went home to her bio parents last week. I have just been so sad and down a lot because I miss her so much! I haven’t heard anything about how she’s doing since she left. Sometimes I wonder how to get through this. It’s so hard! Do you have any suggestions on how to get through this and move on? I want to continue being licensed foster to adopt, but it is so hard when you hurt this much!
