I find this quickly in the internet, wrote by Bennet, the creator, I suppose, of Getting over it: I wrote to him a couple of times, but he's really withdrawn from videogame culture and doesn't respond to interview requests anymore. I don't know dude, I'm sorry you feel this way about the game... I don't really agree with your assessment, I think it shows respect to honor old forgotten games by reviving the ideas in them. Besides, I think you'll find that if you play my game, it isn't actually that close to Sexy Hiking in terms of mechanics. When people make games that are close in mechanics to QWOP, which happens a lot, I feel honored rather than disrespected. But I respect that not everyone may feel the same.

And that is a response to this: Does the dev of Sexy Hiking know about this game? This seems like way more than a homage. It's pretty much Sexy Hiking with shinier graphics and a price tag. Aside from quoting a few forum posts of his, did you talk to Jazzuo at all about this game? I understand that since the original was free maybe it is perfectly legal just to copy it wholesale like this. But I am not talking about legality. In terms of respect, this just seems like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ move to the original creator who probably won't see a single cent out of this.
