nah, it's not being brave or anything when you're speedrunning. It's necessary. There's no choice, there's no risk because you have to take all the risk. There is only practice and skill. (at wr level at least) there is adrenaline, fear, surprise. all of these things, but it doesn't matter during the run. The only thing that matters is your ability to pull it off despite the risk and the emotions.
