This is so awesome to see as a Guide Dogs volunteer. We know in the abstract roughly how training and matching works, but to see it in person is amazing! It makes me feel so proud of the doggos we've looked after through the years, they're such superstars!

I just wanted to tell you that your new guide dog Molly is so cute. Your excitement is contagious. I found myself getting up and snuggling with my guide dog whom I just got back in sept. 2020 (her name is Maui and she is a white poodle from occupaws in the states). I remember the call I got from my trainer asking me if I still wanted a dog so this reminded me of that and I am just so happy for you. Pets your girls for me.

It must’ve been so nerve-racking and exciting to have to wait until the afternoon to get the call that Guide Dog said you were going to be matched. Hi Lucy, I enjoy listening to all your videos. I am glad you were matched successfully with your new Guide dog Molly. I noticed you mentioned, you attend the gym, and I was just wondering if you find assistance if needed to set machines etc, helpful., and your experience of it. How they help you! I’m Registered blind myself, and so is my family. We have congenital Annarida (absence of Iris) and Secondary Glaucoma. My mum was only one out of six of her family who has the condition, and then it was passed down, to my big sister, two nieces, and nephew. When we were young, it was very rare, and they still don’t know enough about it. I only have light and slight colour perception, but nothing useful and is getting worse. Good luck, with your new life experiences with Molly, Ollie and retired Olliga (sorry if spelt wrong).

They change the British harnesses I liked him when they were white I wish they did that in the US the white with the reflective color and I like the way the handles are I hate the new Swiss harnesses they’re using it a couple schools they are so freaking terrible they come all the way over the dogs I’m not sure if the British handles have a what they call a bunny ears to stop them from going over the dogs heads Do they offer different kinds of harnesses like the offset harness and the ergo harness which is what I use now I’ve actually used both types of artists handles him because I’ve used the dog for so long I had to switch to an ergo because it saves your arm and your hand from getting arthritis later on I don’t know if you can but ask the school to see if they’ll post a video about the different hardest handles I’d love to see
