I have a doubt wrt the farfield bc specified in this. I am referring to the outer periphery of the O grid; the wheel surface. Suppose I wish to give one half of this region as inlet, and the other half as outlet. But the regions are not showing up as 2 equally split regions. How to proceed?

Because BCs are applied to the mesh topology (the connectors in this case), you would split the outer connector in the appropriate place(s) and apply the BCs to new connectors.

@@JohnChawner oh ok.. so i need to first generate the connectors, followed by normal extrusion to create the 2D O grid, and then I am supposed to split, before translation to z direction?

Is the imported airfoil geometry a surface or a curve? Thanks!

I'm going by memory, but I'm fairly certain it's a curve.
