It’s crazy how similar your thoughts on LA are to mine, because I just recently went for the first time and had the EXACT same feedback for my friends. I was telling them how odd it is to walk down Hollywood Boulevard, see the walk of fame, and look up and see a Burger King next to an iconic nightclub, and homeless people in tents out front. It was really bizarre.
