Mummy chi if you're going to use chlorxy -G Gel you cannot use methylated spirit for the umbilical cord (Navel ) you have to pick one

Yes o, mummy diogo But I suggest you use spirit because if help the cord to fall off quickly, just that you have to clean every 2 hrs but for the gel, it's just once after bathing the baby

Here in the uk they don’t let you apply anything on the navel Infact they said it interrupts the healing process and making the wound open and fresh because eventually it definitely will fall on it own before or on the 7 day or after depending on body type
