In preparation for Ranked that will be coming out soon for the first time, yours truly has been taking the time to get some builds ready to use for climbing Ranked quickly! For Kwang, this is going to be the best build for climbing with him!

Nevermind the build...just watching you play him is crazy enjoyable. You combo so perfectly. You play him like i envision myself playing him...except I can't execute it nearly as well.

It def takes time and practice, but once you get enough of it, it doesn't become to hard! I recommend playing him a ton in Brawl for that constant action so you get into the combos more

Yes!!!! I'm in the same boat. Can't figure out best build with Kwang. Burst /lifesteal what I'm doing now. Elafrost, magnify, oath, fist of Razz, fireblossom to boost fist and magnify heals or void helm for more heals all sources, and augment for true Strike Burst.

Been running this build on aurora off-lane with a small change. Goliath Crest with the upgrade to sapphires or razorback being match up dependent. Into Elafrost, TaintedGaurd (great when going against two physical characters in enemy off and jungle), Magnify, Oathkeeper, Fist of Ruzuul, and last item is usually a flex pick to counter anyone on the enemy team causing trouble. If I’m ahead though World Breaker finishes this build off nicely. The mana, and health sustain is unbeatable. The small amount of poke damage and wave clear that ElaFrost provides early game usually throws the enemy off guard lol. Also the amount of damage your autos do mid to late game is insane. 1v2 a Kia and Rev in my last game funniest interaction ever haha. Oh also 70+ haste, 5000 health. Crazy!

General tips for a pred noob maining Kwang in brawl / team fighting? I'm still in the phase of not knowing what the other heroes abilities are. I usually just initiate then try to escape while I get bombed on while my team jumps on them.

That's something streamers sometimes do to prevent someone tuning into the stream and having a complete view of your team's location. The fact that there's background music and no standard intro tells me that this is a VOD.

As RD said, this is an overlay i tried out in preparation for Ranked. I don't think I'll be using it anymore as I will be streaming Ranked with a delay, so there will be no need to cover up the map

This game is free to download and play, so it never hurts to try out the game for a day or 2! I recommend you try out the Brawl game mode as that will get you familiar with hero abilities and items faster and is a fun fast paced game mode!

So if you're laning against a Grux/Grey/Feng do you just go oathkeeper second or fist of razuul?

Fist no longer have the armor stat attached to it, but it is def still a solid 2nd item pick up. For versus the Grux, I would build tainted guard 2nd as that item counters him specifically

I went looking to see what top players were building on Kwang since the patch (Fire Blossom seems to be a trap, now), and came across a couple of Elafrost starts. It does seem like Kwang needs to be built with more damage, now, since tanks are in such a weak spot. Would you still recommend Elafrost first into an AP matchup in the Offlane?

This game has serious issues which need to be taken care of before we can dream of Ranked. Characters mana sustain is shit, evvery single character runs oom so fast that it's stupid. TTK needs to go up by a second or two in the early to mid game. Tanks are useless most of the time, at least building 1-2 tanky items does not feel rewarding. Especially when there is so much Max hp dmg items and penetration items. Character strengths are still way unbalanced. Every role has 1-2 heroes who are leagues above anyone in the same category. There is 1-2 variations on what to build on each character, Joey is trying to fight against this with his amazing build videos (thank you).
