I would love to see you make a video about taxes and finances while being self employed. I want to be self employed one day, I hate working for a company and would rather be my own boss/make my own schedule/etc, and would LOVE to hear your advice and listen to your experience. 💕

You could also manually set aside a percentage of money for taxes into a savings account each time you get paid. Basically “withhold” your own taxes for when payment time comes around. That’s something I want to start doing as a freelancer.

I was in community college still). and even though im not vegan or vegetarian I am trying to eat more vegetables and fruit and watching vegans and vegetarians cook w/out meat being the main focus on the meal is not only interesting but helps me try new things. also you are the only youtuber that I am subbed to all of their channels. you are just a great well rounded person and I genuinely enjoy your company.

Girl I feel you on the whole debt thing. I canceled all my subscription boxes and Spotify, Hulu, amazon prime, etc to try to save money and pay off my credit card. I spend more money on groceries than anything else. I don't have a lot of self control at the grocery store and I suck at planning ahead and will stop at the store every 2 days and I end up buying way more stuff that way. Maybe I should start taking cash so I'm forced into having a spending limit. Lol and side note you should talk more about atheism/science in your videos!
@kristina_rr5 жыл бұрын
ccap3211 taking cash with you really helps! That‘s how I‘m saving money buying groceries... or at least I‘m not spending way more than I should be 🙈 I also do grocery shopping lists, that really helps, too. I hope your debt will be payed off soon!
@Lauren560x5 жыл бұрын
Have you considered instantly transferring money out of your account monthly as soon as you get paid? Even if it a small amount it’ll really help tackle that end of year debt. I did it when I was self employed and it really helped. (I do understand many people can’t afford to put anything aside - but you inevitably have to pay it so anything would be good!)

I always just reuse plastic bags like that!!! Unless they get ripped, they are just as reusable as the fancy silicone ones. :) I think a big thing about Sustainability (which I LOVE that you are talking about in this video) is using up what you have before getting a more sustainable option. So go ahead and use/reuse those plastic baggies for as long as they last!! Wash them and dry them, etc.! 🤠 I'm so glad you're getting into this!!

Sarah, mock meets are not so bad. Yes, there's usually a lot of salt in them, but they can be a good protein source whereas jackfruit (even though s o yummy!) has almost no protein. It always depends on the brand and ingredients. Unnatural Vegan has a great video about mock meats - highly recommend it! Thanks for being open about the other issues.
