Estée Lauder actually sells a pump for the Double Wear, it’s $10 or so. Available at most beauty counters (definitely at Sephora, that’s where I got mine). I’ve been going through my enormous makeup collection and decluttering rather brutally too. It feels good. ❤

This is so honest and to the point. There are many great products but not everything needs to be kept. I understand that it's a job and having things to compare is a good resource. But formulas changes, needs/ preferences change, and it's good to let go of items

And that Dior foundation is so good - I finished mine this year and promptly repurchased its worth the hype for sure! I am trying to finish two more and I know for sure I will not buy one of them again the other maybe. I have been on a foundation ban otherwise and I haven't felt like purchasing any. If I knock out the two I am working on in the new year I may let myself get a new one. Aries is such a great helper :)

this has to feel so freaking good, Sam!!! I’ve never seen you be so cutthroat and i am 100 percent here for it!! I need to do this bc I made a KZbin video about this in 2018. I had realized I didn’t need to cover areas that were fine on their own. I use concealer where I need it and then do my other face makeup and it works incredibly😮 well! super light coverage, at the v least, is needed at certain times, but not on the daily. you seem to have kept a nice array of what you’ll use and will want to have for your job. super satisfying declutter as a viewer who needs to follow suit !!!

I did a declutter over the summer and it was big, but after this I realize not brutal enough. I need to do another one. It’s hard for me because I purchased everything myself and I get the guilt over wasted money (gotta work on that in 2023). Also sometimes I watch shop my stash/use your old products videos or my tastes simply change and I’ve decluttered something I regret. This is why I waffle during my declutters.

QVC has the pumps with the Double Wear sometimes and yes Mac pumps fit too! Oh, and if you get the Tarte Serum Foundation again, go for 29N because I'm also shade 3n1 Ivory Beige In double wear and it's almost as perfect!

Wow, that was ruthless! I own 6 foundations, 3 which you kept (Loreal, Wet n Wild, UD) and 3 you are decluttering (MUFE, Fenty, Kosas). My skin is "normal" and more warm-toned, the Kosas is probably my fave right now.

Got a lot of recommendations in this video. I will definitly check out the Ilia one since Kicks (a chain of makeup stores in Sweden) now sells that brand. So ofc I agree with people that says it is great with these minireviews when you decide if you are going to keep or declutter the product. The Dior forever skin glow foundation is my favorite. I save it for special occasions because it looks so beautiful on my dry skin. Once again not everything works for everyone, even if you have the same skin type. I would love to try the Sheisedo foundation, it’s on my Sephora wishlist, but I’m trying to be conscious about how much makeup I’m buying and using. Lately I just been wearing some concealer, blush mascara and a lip gloss, and I’m only doing a full face when going out. I love declutter videos. I believe a lot of people, including me, are going through a phase where they feel overwhelmed with the excessive makeup and we are trying to cut back.

Foundation is my least purchased makeup product. As I’m getting older, I don’t love wearing anything over light coverage. I use the Rare Beauty tinted moisturizer and on the days I need a bit more, I use the Chanel No. 1 foundation. It’s sheer to light coverage. I love the feeling of my skin breathing! I wish I could tell 20 year old me that I didn’t need to wear a mask of foundation everyday.
