This is why I’m subscribed to your channel, Tim. Our style pretty much evolved at the same time. When I found your channel we were both rocking the levis jean jacket and how to style them with slim fit jeans or chinos. I did this before after I found my style. For office wear: only blue and white shirts, blue and blank pants. For casual: denim, blue, black and neutral colours. No loud graphics.

I do this every 3 months in my personal wardrobe (slowing down on it as I do need to keep some stuff...), but it feels so freeing to have gotten rid of some stuff, and only wearing the things you love that are left

i have recently gotten sick of trying to find something i'd like to wear only to find crappy polos and shirts that are too small, so i used that military packing technique (the one where you make a roll) and packed them into the underside of my closet, narrowing it down to 7 normal shirts, 2 really nice polos, 3 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of formal pants, and 3-4 long sleeve v-necks that i really love! (since it's almost fall, and it gets a bit chilly at night)

Just a general tip that I have been following the last couple of years, which save me quite some money! Buy intentional. As simple as that: 1. Declutter your wardrobe and get rid of everything that you just dislike wearing or haven't worn in the last year, 2. count your items per categories (tees, jeans, hoodies, ...) 3. whenever you buy a new item, get rid of an existing one. This way you end up only buying the things you actually like and need. Saves you money, time and is also good for mother nature. And I have been much more satisfied with my wardrobe and my style.

I always go through my clothes a couple times a year and give them away to family that's needs them or homeless in the neighborhood. I waste so much money on clothes it's sickening but at least people get brand new clothes when I give them away.

I'm big on making environmental-friendly decisions but also want to improve my syle. I know that each piece of clothing can have a big environmental impact so I try to be selective, but it can feel hard to keep up while doing it. Bro I've done the same 3 weeks ago. My wardrobe are fulls with my old clothes that don't even fit anymore because of the childhood memory. I kept some of them because it's too valuable to me, but a lot of them unfortunately I have to get rid off. Giving it to my younger cousins or any other kids who would benefit it more than me as much as it pains for me to give it away. Now my wardrobe and my room looks clean for first time ever haha. Now that I've grown up and know my own styles, my clothes are less now but worry not, I'm going to add more clothes in the future according to my styles. ✨
